Faction Exotic Class Item
So I just bored last weekend..then I got an idea..rising my titan faction rank up to 25 from 11.
I got the quest and finished it on Sunday.
Upgrade the light..
When I checked the Class item...the only perk is just give 10% extra on NM rep.
Well it is not really good perk because Faction rep is only 50% of VG rep.
The only benefit leveling up the rank either VG or Factions or Crucible is the Motes and SCs.
The weapons and gears most likely useless and they almost the same...faction guns are just VG rebadge guns.
Now since Faction rep is only 50% VG rep...it better we use VG class item rather than Faction's.
because We can get the motes and SC faster by leveling VG.
There is no exotic perk on Faction Exotic Class Items.
They should add other perks (select-able) , Increase VG and Crucible rep. and make the Faction rep equal to VG or Crucible.

1 ReplyFaction rep is 50% because you get it for both crucible & vanguard activities. If you don't play crucible, then the vanguard boost is better, but if you play both game types consistently, the exotic class items will rank up your faction faster than the vanguard or crucible. Plus you get the small pleasures of a spawn effect & having 2 exotic armor pieces equipped at the same time.

I really think they have under developed the factions, they should make these really worth investing in and develop some faction exclusive exotics both weapons and armour. As well as do something to really make it worth being a part of it like some kind of buff each class provides for being a member and make it different to create reasons to choose each one. Right now I'm on a quest to align myself with Future war cult, mostly for the cool threads but the stupid part is since there are no FWC exotic armour items I have to run no exotic armour if I want to rock the FWC look. I think this is a major part of destiny they could do some cool things with but haven't developed it well yet.
