People keep making posts like *blablabla is killing destiny* or *im leaving*. What you dont understand is that the only thing that will even get close to killing destiny is a game of the same genre (loot based shooter) which the next one coming to consoles that we know of is Borderlands 3. Even then, people will still come back to this game (or a sequel) because they like something about it.
If you say youre leaving, no one cares but you and your immediate friends. You should know by now that bungie sure as hell doesnt care, and as long as you're not "op" the forums doesnt really care either.
Get off your high horse and do what you want, and if what you want is to leave destiny, then so be it.

It's not dead by any means, I find myself playing it with a few buddies of mine. But I will say that the content has run dry despite the time-gated quests and guns. It's been R6 Siege and Elite: Dangerous (and a few 360 games) since after the Oryx Challenge was released.
