How are you enjoying PvZ:GW2 so far?
Its been just about 24 hours since the beta came out. Are you enjoying the game? Whats your favorite character?
I myself love the game. Im disappointed in 2 spots though: the zmech has a timer and citron can drop them to easily. When i first saw the titanfall spinoff i thought it would require focus fire from multiple team mates to take it down. Instead, all you need is one citron to take care of 2 or more zmechs. If you're fighting a team and half of them are citrons you might as well switch to a different class

6 RepliesEdited by Kulu Yaku: 1/19/2016 12:35:41 AMFor 60$ it doesnt warrant a purchase for me. The OG game had 4 characters per race, this game adds 3. There are a few new modes. But for 60$ compared to 40 i expect more new content than the last. They added in less content but increased the price to match a normal game? It may be really fun but im done. Sure theres some cosmetic and ability upgrades etc but the characters and modes and maps are what can make or brake it. And there isnt an equivalent in content to even the 40$ version.

It's pretty good, but honestly I prefer the first one.

The rose is my favorite so far and the zombie hero guy is a close second. Very fun but not as good when facing 6 imps.

It's okay. Zombies seem way better than the plants and some of them (pirate and imp) are borderline overpowered.

I'm torn, a lot of my complaints are most likely because it's a beta. But I think it's a bit too intense with so many characters. There's just so much going on, gunfire everywhere making it hard to understand what is going on. GW1 was a lot calmer and you could easily follow the gunfights.

There's a few kinks that need ironing out. Such as team mate names disappearing, can't tell you how many times me and my friend couldn't locate each other due to names not showing above our heads. Also when departing multiplayer, taking your party with you. This failed all night up until the last game I played, when I departed my team came with. I assume it's maybe meant to do that and it's not functioning properly right now. Cactus is now extremely hard to hit a moving target with. In PVZ one, if your cursor was on the enemy you hit them, now if they're running you have to aim ahead due to the time it takes for your needle to travel the distance. The maps are also pretty lame in my opinion, the moon is by far the worst. And I'm not sure if I'm sold on the end game mechanic for turf take over, pull the levers to push the battering ram across? Dunk some basket balls... Mmm.

2 RepliesI kind of miss the engineers old cone drone. I understand why they gave the pirate the parrot because he is a recon class but I still would prefer the engineer having the drone instead.

I do like it but I don't like the multiplayer in it. I prefer garden ops. So can't wait for the full release.
