People are legitimately complaining about warlocks?

Let me get this correct. You're whining about [i]warlocks.[/i] The class that doesn't get whined at and is even. Because what, it has damage resistance a super is supposed to and it killed you? Because you usually whine but they already nerfed Sunbreaker? I don't get it. Someone genuinely please explain this to me; I'm dumbfounded.

  • Idk, for me personally, warlocks have always been more annoying for me. The flame shield, firebolt/Viking funeral, fusion grenades and various other things just always irked me.

    • why did arcbolts get nerfed but firebolts still do ridiculous damage plus has a op asf burn on top of it. not to mention warlocks have a 2m melee which gives a overshield just because you tapped them, at least make it like titan how you kill the enemy to get the overshield

        • I don't think I've ever heard Warlock damage resistance as a problem. The main three I've heard about are the Stormtrance's longevity, Firebolt DOT, and the Warlock melee, specifically the Flame Shield

          • The natural order of destiny. The nerf cycle. We gotta be fair since the other classes got nerfed. I remember seeing the first warlock nerf post and everyone made fun of OP. Then it slowly gained momentum. It's kinda funny if you take a step back and watch

              • The only thing op about warlocks is Viking funeral. An idea to make it less to complain about is change it from Increases burn duration To Causes a explosion when radiance is used About half the size of a foh Damage will not insta kill but will deal (155)and burn for (45)

                  Trancendence could be taken down a notch. I used stormcaller for a while after the taken king came out. It was pretty op. If you jumped and got slightly lucky you could annihilate solar titans, because the duration was so long. Recently now that the solar titans no longer reguire a spirit bomb to stagger and a flare blitz to finish. The Stormcaller super is forced out of its second place kill capacity. And into first. And if a nerf is going to be made. I purpose just changing trancendence, either shorten the duration added or make it so double kills increase the length of stormtrance and heal the user a small bit. So when cast with full grenade and melee, you'd be healed when cast and the ability to heal and increase duration on double kills. I think that pairs well with the classes chaining capabilities and keeps it from being an overly effective panic super. The user is forced to wait until that exact moment and wipe groups for any benefit. Or better yet just remove trancendence and give a perk where we gain bonus super energy and heal a small amount on double kills. That'd be sweet.

                  • Some of our abilities are a bit unbalanced. Firebolt grenades w/ Touch of Flame and Viking Funeral are stupid. Just remove those two perks, give us something useful for a support class. I can understand the complaints about Flame Shield, but Sunsinger's other melee options suck. Perks in that tree should be changed or improved. Stormtrance does last too long. I would prefer they make it so that you drain super energy faster when actually pressing the attack button. Or they could simply remove the extra duration perk on Transcendence. There are several ways to fix this without ruining the class. As for Thunderstrike, yeah, the range is a bit too far. I don't see this as being a huge issue, since the class is rather dull outside of it's super, but they could make some changes to make it a bit more balanced.

                  • It does need a nerf melee range is ridiculous and can easily kill you from atleast 3 meters and over shield wth all you need is a tap not even a kill

                        I don't use a warlock(level 3, used as extra vault space). I have been killed by stormtrance plenty of times in Iron Banner, just like i was killed my Hammer of Sol before the over-the-top nerf. Ya know? I didn't mind. I play my titan more than my hunter and i have no dog in this fight but i think bungie is gonna take a big shit on warlocks pretty soon and they'll have their own version of the shit super we call hammer of sol very soon. Sucks. Doesn't need a nerf. I don't pvp much, not good at it, don't care to be, but the biggest problem with 'ol John Weisnewski and the "brilliant" sandbox team is that they blanket nerf everything cause it's easier. So yes, use hammer in pve and you'll immediately find out it's a shadow of what it was. When it was cool to have a stormcaller making orbs and killing ads? Uhhhh uhhhhhhhhh, nope. Bungie will nerf the fuk outta it in pvp AND pve. So i would like to thank the pvp gods with their 2.0KDs and all the money they make in endorsements and such(RIGHT????? You have to be getting paid to be that good at a video game, right?). You guys really put the pve crowd in line. Well, you helped it. You didn't write the code to nerf anything but when y'all whine and complain they see that shit and then take away our favorite guns(make them much weaker) and not only that but now titans have a much weaker super in pve. I agree with the pvp nerf although it went a weeee bit too far but pve? Leave us alone guys! Poor warlocks will be commiserating with titans very soon i fear. I think the stormcaller is the last actually bad ass super and would hate to see it nerfed.

                      • They should just reduce Stormcaller Transcendence by a few seconds and reduce burn time from Viking Funeral to shut everyone the hell up. Then we can all friggin move on to the next thing to whine about. "Defender Bubbles last too long!" "Gunslingers get too many shots in GG!" "Give Titans Blink!" "Blink is STILL OP!" "Nova Bomb has too big an area with the perk!" "Remove supressor nades from Defenders!" "I can't avoid Striker Lightning nades, nerf em!" "Nightstalker bows shouldn't kill you!"

                          • Because titans and hunters got the nerf treatment. So all the whiners are cracking down on warlocks. It's only a matter of time before there's only one subclass in the game. And it's super will probably be, throw a pillow at the enemy.
