Hard mode oryx, doesn't need to be high light.
So the past few weeks we have carried people through the hard raid and completed oryx and warpriest challenge and you know what there light lvl wasn't 315+ it was 286-290 and to be honest the 286 did just as well as the 315+ members of the fireteam, so don't ask for high light just go with a team and communicate, it's really not that hard.
Pretty much saying git gud to people who demand high light lvl, and certain weapons e.g Spindle and Touch Of Malice.
Edit: Wasn't expecting this kinda salt to be honest, some of you guys get what I'm saying others must just be selfish salty people.
Wow just goes to show the community is at its worse, wasn't making this for any other reason but to say it's possible to take low levels through -blam!- all the hate... By the way if you are that arrogant that you have too look up stats/argue with the fact that we helped you really really need help.

Not because you want people to know of your heroic deeds, or see how everyone can help each other. You posted this so: 1) People would think you and your friends are amazing for "carrying" lower level people through the raid. 2) Lower light players might add you to assist them, and in turn they would think you're a great player. 3) So you can boast about a not so amazing accomplishment. Also, you must still be a teenager so I understand wanting to brag about carrying people through the raid. How do I know? You used "there" instead of "their" "It's the internet I don't need grammar blah blah" Well no, you don't, but any person who's balls have dropped knows the difference between the two, and it's not like it's so much harder to write/spell. ;)

There's no way the 286 did just as well, he just can't do the same dps on war priest, Golgoroth and sisters. Sorry but your lying right there. I know because I've taken 286 to war priest, the dps figures don't lie, not even close.

Well since you can easily 5 man oryx carring a low level through is no big issue. The real challenge is to take 5 low level people(290 light and below) and do the oryx challenge then you may impress some.

This guy is baiting so hard lmao. 1.) How would you be 286 at Oryx if you had done warpiest challenge? Are you using blue guns? 2.) Anecdotal evidence is not imperial. Just because you found the one good 286 doesn't mean you can apply this to thr masses. You cannot tell me that someone with all 3 characters at 319 isn't going to perform better then the 286 the overwhelming majority of the time

Also its challenge week, so he really stayed 286 all the way? Hmmmm. Regardless, it took 2 1/2 hr. Now try it with two 286's , then 3. And imagine the time as the dps shrinks. You get the point of why higher light = more damage dealt ,less damage taken. Moron.

I have made forum posts for 315 plus for oryx and I believe I have my reasons. Firstly, I don't mind "carrying" but I [u]believe[/u] that if you have a higher light level doesn't mean skill but raid experience. When I do make 315 plus posts, I want to get it done quickly. However when I want to have fun I just say whatever and let anyone join. This is my two sense on this light level topic and what I do.

Who cares what other people ask for? Most of the 315+ posts are people that are stuck looking for randoms and most don't want to spend hours carrying anyone. At this point people just want it done with so they can get trolled by the bullshit rng and be done for another week...lol.

I'd say at least 310. Anything below and it's just carrying as the player can't do enough damage. A 307+ might be able to handle it if they are the runner or a mid Titan and have the ToM. Maybe can run plates if they know their targets and two Titan are shredding ogres from the mid. If the whole team is fine with it, it's all gravy but if not it's unfair to the other players in the FT IMO. I do believe though you only need to be 300 to start the HM raid. And can most likely get through golgoroth as one especially if you are somewhat decent.

A lot of people forget that the first guys doing any raid or strike, were technically below the recommended light level. Still cleared it. The fact that they are demanding these high light levels is for the following; They want the raids to be easy, quick, and with the minimum amount of effort when it comes to teamwork. Maximum chance at clearing it, minimum chance at failing it. Basically.. they've gotten lazy. They don't appreciate an actual challenge. They don't appreciate jumping back down to the saddle of the first days where everyone was just trying to sort shit out, and taking on a raid with players in that position. It's a damned waste that the advanced players in this game have gotten so damnably elitist.
