" don't have a smoker " then u have truly never felt what it's like to be alive

2 RepliesSaw smoked Salmon at a breakfast buffet once. Didn't realize that it was served cold. WHAT KIND OF ABOMINATION HAVE YOU CREATED?!
-
With heat.
-
Eat it raw, straight from the waterfall like a real beat.

Napalm

Cook it over an open fire. Tie salmon to a plank then stake it to the ground next to the fire.

1 ReplyDon't have a smoker? Do you have a grill? Then plank that sucker. You get the heat and sear of grilling, but also a touch of smoke to the fish. It's also easy as it gets. And some folks are recommending cooking it until it "falls apart"? Please don't. When fish is done, you'll be able to tell by pressing your finger onto into and down slightly. If you feel the "flakes" of the fish slide easily against each other? It's done.

I just put it in tin foil and lemon juice on top of it then put in oven just keep an eye on it

The newest trend is to cook it in your dishwasher. No, I'm totally -blam!-ing serious. IN YOUR DISHWASHER here's a recipe http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/dishwasher-salmon-with-a-piquant-dill-sauce-recipe.html

4 RepliesReally dude? There's about a bazillion recipes online for it, and you come on b.net to ask. When did your Google break again? Sigh....all the ones who said in tinfoil on the grill got it right. Low and slow until it just falls apart. Stuck on seasoning too? Salt and butter work just fine. Still can't understand why b.net>pinterest with step by step directions and pictures, but ok. Now I'm hungry. Damnit

1 ReplyI like it grilled. Put it in a foil pouch, add butter or margarine and a pinch lemon pepper and/or garlic salt. Get wild caught salmon as well. Its a little more expensive but farm raised salmon is shit.

Take about (depending on how much salmon you have) 1/3 of a cup of Italian dressing and pour it on top of the Salmon. Bake it with salt and pepper until the salmon is flaky.
