What is fatebringer ?
And how does one obtain it?
I also hear talk of a gallihorn. What is that

3 RepliesFatebringer is 30-40 hard mode runs of seeing 3 or so drop, and all of them going to someone whom already has it. Fatebringer is your 10th Praedyth's Revenge Fatebringer is hanging out on multiple LFG sites trying to find a 6th with the checkpoint because nobody can do Confluxes. Fatebringer is Ballahorn is required because we are too lazy to do it legit. Fatebringer is we need a good relic runner, because I'm to lazy to learn Fatebringer is seeing it finally drop with a full inventory, but once you go to the tower all you see are blue engrams Fatebringer is no, I don't want to finish the raid.... but I'll take the exotic chest Fatebringer is omfg you noob don't loot the spirit bloom chest Fatebringer is the 30th warlock bond from said exotic chest Fatebringer is love Fatebringer is life Fatebringer is cause for justifiable homicide when your friend gets his 3rd and you don't have any

Listen, I'll make this simple: In year 1, there were three God weapons.... 1. Fate bringer- a hand cannon that reaped immeasurable reward for precision. Arc damage, firefly, and outlaw. 2. Black hammer- the absolute beast of sniper rifles. White nail perk- three precision shots refunded ammo directly to magazine. Never run out of ammo and a boss killer. 3. Gjallahorn- solar rocket launcher that, when rocket detonates, fires off smaller ordinance that track their target. It had tracking and a hidden perk- horseshoes and hand grenades. Yup it's true. If you ever used it in crucible you'd know that bit was true. ( and you'd be a douche lol). Everyone had this as their go to load out for PVE. It couldn't be beat. Sure they'd mess around with other stuff or if it was a nightfall with a specific burn.... But God help the nightfall boss if it was solar that week. Throw in the old trusty icebreaker and you were unstoppable.

11 RepliesFatebringer? ....oh it was an over-rated piece of crap. no good perks. inaccurate, couldn't handle trash mobs and was ineffective against bosses. looked stupid. only noobs used it. gjxaialjlarrhtourn - another over-rated piece of trash. who needs an exotic heavy anyway? if you're going to do the VoG raid what you're after is Atheon's Epilogue and Praetorian Foil. Grind until you get them. They are boss in year 2 content.

1 ReplyGjallarhorn isn't a good as it was, although it still is very good. To my knowledge, elemental primaries don't drop anymore. Grinding for Fatebringer is pointless.

2 RepliesBack in year 1 it was the hand canon from The Vault Of Glass. Really good stats and was one of, if not the only hand canon at the time with firefly. Gally was according to many the only way to beat any boss. Basically a rocket launcher that shot rickety launchers.

Fatebringer was a god among hand cannons. Gjallarhorn was a god in the form of a rocket launcher. Bother are more collectors items at this point. You may as well not bother.
