Anyone else miss y1 ghost voice?

Nope. Dinklage was a horrible voice actor.

1 ReplyNolan North is awesome But I think Dinklage fits the character better, Ghost is an A.I powered by the light of the great machine. He is not going to have a charming personality. He is going to give you cold facts and calculations. Dinklage performed the voice the way the character was presented to him, it doesn't seen like Destiny without him, but I understand why they went with North, voice acting is what he does, he is more available has he isn't tied up with feature length films.

I do because I've heard of Peter Dinklage before. But I've never heard of this new guy. But I will admit, he has grown on me as the ghost.

If we had the cheerful dinklebot then sure. Go watch the 2013 e3 footage. He sounded happy to be there. It's a clear showing that he had to reread lines from a new script.

No. But I will admit, it was MUCH BETTER THAN NOLAN NORTH. I know destiny is for teens, but jeez... Why does my ghost make some cheesy joke every time he can? "Hmm... Would I be more useful with a larger chassis?" Just.. Please.. Stop... I want a ghost that talks like Dredgon Yor's... Dark, and serious. Or a ghost like Jaren Ward's- quiet, and observing. One that talks about the darkness seriously, not just making fun of them. The darkness nearly wiped us out- let's just make fun of them while we continue to struggle against... Y'know... Hive Gods. I know that maybe a cheerful joke may be essential in a time of crisis, but destiny's lore is just so much more serious and interesting than actual gameplay that I'm wondering why our ghost tries to be funny. It makes me cringe. Stop making Dad jokes, Nolandroid.

In my opinion, the Y1 lines are now even worse than before, but the Taken King lines are much better.
