What primary weapon did you use on your first raid completion? (INCLUDING YEAR ONE)

The Devil You Know on Vault of Glass as a level 27. Everyone was 28 or below with mostly crappy weapons and gear. It was the hardest thing I've ever done in Destiny but we beat it after 10 hours with nobody having prior raid experience or knowing what to do.
