I'm never ashamed of myself. And just cuz I missed the first month or two, doesn't make me any less qualified to speak on the matter. I'm so fu¢kin' sick of hearing about the 'beta' players, and "Oh, we really had it bad!" Just shut up. You were the few lucky ones privileged enough to take it around the block before everyone else. Well I'm actually pissed at you shy, timid, introverts, who couldn't find your nerve to say, "Ahem, ummm Bungie sirs or madams, as the case may be. Look, uh, you may wanna think twice before launching this unpolished turd onto the less forgiving, waiting in line, paying, type crowd." Now all I hear are Beta jokes, trying to make yourselves sound like you have more clout, when in reality, I blame you all for getting "starstruck" when it came to giving them viable feedback. So no, you 'beta' know it alls, in my opinion dropped the ball, and now you know as much as the rest of us, as far as the progression of the polishing of this turd.

They get 2 years to polish a turd? They have no idea where this story is supposed to go. They don't even know how to explain the being that resides inside the Traveler. TTK and the dreadnought were supposed to be the final 1/3 of the launch storyline, but they diced it up so much it is now the latest installment. So they stretched what was supposed to be what we paid $60 into a year long scam. I wasn't Beta, but I was launch. I know what Bungie had promised and promoted and what we got was an abused stepchild leftover from a internal squabble. No one dropped the ball but Bungie, Activision, and those that blindly cradle their sack for them saying "it's okay. We can wait until 2019 for you to get it right." The game looks great, which is expected at a minimum but there is nothing under the surface except to grinding, grinding to inevitably upgrade the same set of weapons and gear that everyone else has. No story No sense of legend No transparency from Bungie No effort other than what lines their pockets. Be a Desticle if you want and keep throwing money at them but don't deny knew players of the insight that came from a long time of dismay, and a declining player base just so you can have a rookie at the other end of your 1k Yard Stare come Trials time.

Just because someone wants to get behind a project they enjoy and have high hopes for, you can do no better than hurl insults (weak and childish as they may be). I know all about the 3 1/2+ years the Dev crew put in, just to have it yanked by Hactivision. What an absolute shame, and waste, and travesty for all of us who had eagerly awaited the release of what was to be the most innovative and forward looking game to date. Well, unfortunately, that's what happens when companies get greedy. They turn the control over to the greediest corporations of all time. I fu¢king loathe corporations and big money. It's what's wrong with not only the video game industry, but this entire country. But that's a whole other discussion. You act so high and mighty with all of your "knowledge". Why not use it to explain to the new players of Destiny, just why it's in the state it's in right now, but maybe try to reassure them that Bungies not just gonna roll over and die. They'll figure this god awful mess out, and right the ship. And when they do, if we've scared off the next generation of players, it's just gonna be you, me, and the other grumpy farts who watched this whole wild ride. And we'll be playing a game that looks a whole lot closer to a diamond than any kind of turd...polished or not. Edit: And your profile is private? Not surprised in the slightest.
