What's up with people treating their fireteam like the military???
It's just a game.
I'm almost thirty years old, love motorcycles. I have a son. My lady is a correctional officer. I'm self employed blah blah blah but when I get the free time to actually play on my 400$ ps4, dlc 40$, online for 50$, headset for 100$ and put some gaming hours in why can't you all just play the dam game? Stop taking this shit serious. Oh I only 299 light and you want 300? The hell outta here with that BS and start being an actual fire TEAM player.

Because other people have also spent that much and don't want to spend forever -blam!-ing around to get to an end goal? Ever tried to do a heist in GTA V online? Yeah, your block list eventually increases beyond limit because you're fed up of trying to do one simple thing for -blam!-ing ever and you end up with people who clearly were allowed to drink the chemicals stored under the kitchen sink as a child -blam!-ing things up EVERY DAMN TIME. Also, I get to play how I want.

I'm normally the leader of my group of pals. But we aren't strict. We goof around, call each other names, tell each other how bad they are. But if we keep failing then I will be a little more stern and get the job done and then go back to joking around.

You seem like a busy guy so you should understand that people would actually like to finish raids when they have a chance to play. There are plenty of people that get their kicks out of helping inexperienced players, go raid with them.

4 RepliesCurrently employeed with my towns P.D. and part time security supervisor for a autoplant. Over time, i have gotten the nickname general, then eventually people started following under me by getting nick named captains and L.T. If i say something, they did it. Its not commanding, they follow out of respect. Most of them i only know through game. So, what im getting at here is, when a fireteam is acting like they are millitary, its normally out of respect for the people that earned it

This does not apply to every group just most (Are some people who don't post minimal light levels)

I don't want to take more than an hour and half to do a raid, and if me telling everyone what to do and when to do it makes the raid get done in 45 then that's what happens. My dream is to find a 6 man group that we can run three hard raids in a row every Tuesday and just blow through it, but until then I will do what it takes to make sure my random fireteam succeeds. If you are only 299 light stick to normal mode until you are 307 or better then understand when you get kicked at oryx if you don't level up during the hard raid or die lots at oryx. When I started hard raiding I gracefully bowed out if I was the only under leveled guy so the team could succeed. Don't be selfish if you don't have the light level to get the job done wait another week. Shit the hardest to get drops come from the totems and the sisters anyways

3 RepliesI can explain this, at least on my part. The reason I am so rough on my squad, is that most, if not all tasks, can be completed by proper teamwork and coordination. In most games, I am a raid leader, team leader etc. While I am hard on my teams, we always finish, and in the end, the sense of accomplishment that our teams. However, this being said, doing this to randoms, may discourage them. Thus, I try a more stern, but friendly approach to working with a team. I guess you must accept that every leader is different, but from experience, the most coordinated groups tend to be more victorious. Just try to work with it, in most cases, the team usually is successful.

Should have played WoW during BC/Wrath....it was a second job for me back then with all the BS I had to do in the Guild for weekly raids Too bad I did not get paid for those hours...ugh

I agree it's nice to be able to play the game and have fun. But if a raid takes three hours that should only take an hour or just over can get frustrating.
