Range is very important now on fusion rifles. The higher the range state the closer the spread. Stability makes the horizontal spread smaller.

  • Range affects the velocity whereas Stability affects the spread.

  • Range also reduces the cone off the weapons shots. Atleast I am pretty sure about it

It's difficult to say given the randomness of the burst and recoil. It's not really a cone pattern like a shotgun. It's more of a burst like a pulse rifle except seven projectiles so there is far greater movement. I don't doubt you, just that they didn't mention that feature in the 2.1 patch notes. Let's say it did perhaps it's because the higher velocity allows the projectiles to travel further out before spreading out and losing accuracy. I was just testing variation in stability on different archetypes with a Split Shifter Pro and Thesan FR4. I didn't manipulate range but I did change their stability and as far as I could tell, stability does impact the projectile grouping. What have you noticed about range and stability?
