How do I start a new bungie account?

Without changing my Xbox ID. I added my ps account to unlink my Xbox account. After that I created a new bungie account and linked to my Xbox account. Then on my Xbox I deleted destiny, clearing cache, reinstalled destiny. Ran destiny expecting the new bungie account to kick in but I still got the same account. How? I thought I unlinked the account and I linked a new bungie account? Help! What I'm I doing wrong?

  • What results are you trying to accomplish? You stated you logged into the game to see something. Note that Destiny accounts are tied to your Xbox Live / PSN ID. So long as you log in with the same username on your console, your account information will be the same. There is no separate Bungie account for the game itself. On the web/app, you can create a new Bungie account by using the "Sign up" button. Take care when attaching an Xbox live / PSN ID used by another Bungie.net account - if you leave an existing bnet account with no Xbox live / PSN account attached to it, you will leave the account without a means of logging into it, which is irreversible.

    • Hi Aaron Where on your xbox are you seeing your Bungie.net account kick in. With the clan? Looking at your bungie net profile you are currently using it shows that it is only linked to your xbox profile. So they are separate..
