Males and females usually get their first pubes around 12. So your comment is void.

No its not. You missed the part where he said that most adults have kids and want to spend time with adults. I am 35 and while I don't mind playing video games with people your age, the conversations you can have with someone younger or older than you vary greatly. Not to mention kids your age have play time limits. There have been plenty of times I have been in the middle of a raid when all of a sudden the one young person (or two) on the team says, "I have to go. My parents said it is bed time" or, "I have to go do chores." Now we are down a person and have to spend time finding a new person. With adults you usually don't get that. Though in all fairness it can happen that they have to leave do to work or other family obligations but it doesn't happen nearly as often as it does with younger people.

I have around 100 days of play time and I only casually play since ttk came out because Bungie can't keep a game nice. Look it up on destiny tracker. Some kids can't play long, some adults can't. Saying no kids doesn't eliminate that factor.

Edited by DisturbedShifty: 1/10/2016 10:49:25 AMYour play time doesn't matter and again you are missing the point. You have been given a logical reason why adults want to play with other adults yet you refuse to acknowledge it. If you are as mature as you claim to be you would be able to accept these answers and move on, however you can't do that so you clearly aren't as mature as you are pretending to be. You arguing every valid point is not helping your cause.

If you don't want to be around kids, why the hell would you play a game that's recommended for kids? Granted I encourage gaming at any age, but according to the "logical reason" I was given, why would you play a kids game to get away from kids?

I have a better question. In this thread somewhere you said you are socially awkward/anti-social and that is why you only have 2 friends out of a class of 200. Then why are you playing video games with random people regardless of age? I will tell you why, because you enjoy it. Just because it is meant for a specific age doesn't mean it is strictly limited to that age group. If that was the case then adults wouldn't collect toys or play video games and teenagers would drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes.

In a school of 200. Not a class. I have a class of 40. I am socially awkward and I do enjoy games. It's an outlet, but I also don't enjoy being discriminated against in a game I use to get away just because of my age. If you're here to play the game, age shouldn't matter. You don't need to have adult or deep conversations just to play Destiny.

It is an outlet for me too but that doesn't mean I don't talk abut real world things. When you meet new people you need to have something more to talk about other than the game at hand, especially if you are going to be playing a game with them for an hour or more. Not to mention it helps get to know them just in case you want to add them to your friends list. You need to be able to relate to those people and the best way to do that is talk about things that they have in common with you other than the video game you're playing. It is extremely hard to relate to someone half your age, or twice your age, when you don't have the same life experiences to talk about. You want to stop being discriminated against? Then do as other posters have suggested, start listing yourself on LFG sites or in the recruitment forums and quit looking to join someone else's team. Be up front that you are 16 years old and that you can handle yourself. If people join and they are older than you then they clearly don't care what your age is. Like I said, you are not helping your cause arguing people that are debating with you and have given you multiple valid reasons why adults don't want to play with people younger than themselves. You are only making it worse. If you can't understand this then there is nothing else left to talk about.

Ah. Makes more sense.
