halo 3 achievements: marathon man glitch
As you can go ahead and check out my achievements, i have 72 of them...but the real problem is marathon man is my last achievement needed for the campaign. I have done marathon man twice in the past week, one of which was offline. I have also done it over 5 times in the past...and all of which the achievement does not show up. I have done it in different ways, hijacked a few anti-air wraiths to see if it made a difference...ive betrayed everyone, including my partner and its failed. Ive even done it with someone and they got the achievement as i sat there in disgust...
Please bungie, fix this..give me the achievement that i have earned countless times only to be turned down
and for proof that i have done it..i will put 3 videos filming that i have gotten each one..go ahead and flame me, i earned marathon man and im tired of trying to get it
(i have done on every mode, solo and co-op..dont message me whether i have done this)

Go through all of the terminals in one run, it might help. *hint: MARATHON man* And do them in order. [Edited on 10.22.2009 4:56 PM PDT]

hey guys, ill put exactly what i did so you dont need to tell me irrelevant information anymore: -mode:not needed..just need terminals -I did each and every one of them, from 3 on ark, to 3 on covenant, to the halo one..which didnt give me it so i went back to cortana for the "extra" terminal, which aswell did not work.. -Ive done this co-op and solo -yes ive beaten the game if thats relative.. -i did all on the same mode and..I have done on every kind of mode -I have tried this for about a year now..from time to time i'd try it to see if it worked yet ...and no i never start from Alpha, or Bravo, or Charlie, or whatever checkpoints..

do them in one run in order. 3 on the ark 3 on the covenant 1 on halo

Make sure you are starting the levels from the beginning and not from the Alpha or Bravo checkpoints.

just did it last week and completely didnt work..i didnt include the cortana one in it, but its not one of the 7 anyways..im not wasting my time on this anymore.

Also how would hi-jacking the AA Wraiths make any difference?[/quote]..the AA Wraiths make the biggest difference..its much more fun, and the long trip of getting is a lot better when you can shoot over 20 fuel rod blasts and you know they are screaming as all 20 are going after that one ghost... other than that, i have done this for everyone, ive gone to cortana, people keep saying i have to do it again..Ill do it solo tonight on heroic again, if i dont get it..I give up on the achievement that has already wasted my time

Try going until the second screen comes up, not the red one, the one that looks like the original screen. Also how would hi-jacking the AA Wraiths make any difference?

yea i watch it completely...i know it goes to red because ive done each terminal over 10 times.i have always skipped through each one with A, I eventually got bored and started taking the anti-air wraiths.so really nothing that can help it, ill just try to get it again tonight and if i dont then theres no point on continuing to try to get it.

Have you tried actually watching the entire thing? Wait till the screen goes red, then watch it have a seizure, wait for more text, then skip through that using A and then you are done. I haven't heard anything of the achievement not unlocking if you've actually watched 'em all, which leads me to believe that you aren't watching enough.

I did them all in order, all on heroic, and i got to the 'red screen'...and it doesnt work..my problem is that i did this with another account just created on my xbox and i did it offline..and that account got it while i did not still still suggestions would be good..all im going for are the achievements not armor

Make sure you do them in order, all on the same difficulty, and read through to the end.

I didn't see you talk about this part, so I'll say it. If you have, then I don't know what to tell you. You gotta start in order, go through all of them in a row, not missing a single one, including the Cortana Terminal. Hope you get that achievement. -SpaZzy-

when i got 1000 GS it gave me it, i dont think it matters as much anyways... i guess ill have to go back and get the fake terminal again

im trying to get all the achievements..i have recon too and ive earned the katana, so 'stop complaining'
