Titan Story Chp 26.4 (Collaboration Chapter!): Unexpected Alliance
This is a combined chapter with some of Paradox1055's characters and ideas, his original characters are his own and for this purpose used to entertain.
"So." Doc asked as he floated over, leaving the Titan on the ground. "What have I missed?" "Well, we found Morin. He found a friend. The Titan crashed and is hu-" Alan paused and quickly covered the rebreather on his mask in horror. Doc quickly looking up. "Someone's hurt?... I could use a new guinea pig." he said, looking to the motionless Titan behind him. "Uh...." Charles said as he looked at Doc. "Are you a medic?" "Of course I am, I don't wear a bloody cross for nothing." He expanded his shell and looked. "Atleast it shouldn't be bloody." I fell silent and watched the little Ghost. "Anyway!" Doc spinned and looks dead at me. "What seems to be the trouble?" "D***it Alan! We just saved that guy!" yelled James who was sitting by Blake, checking on him. "Ah Doc... my scans read internal bleeding, broken ribs, and a very energetic personality!" Colt winked at Doc. "Those should suffice for your.... diagnosis." Doc seemed to frown slightly. "Is that all? That's not very interesting... I couldn't prolong the patients surgery at all..." "What do you mean?" Charles barked. "We just survived going through a giant ship at warp speed! I think we are lucky to be alive!!" "Wait..." Doc turned to Charles. "You two crashed into this structure... which is heavily shrouded in Darkness... at warp speed... and you ONLY sustained minor injuries?" "Yes! I'd say it was quite the achievement." Charles said proudly. Doc looked at him then at me. "Amazing... this would make an excellent case study..." Doc seemed to brighten up. The cross lit up on his side as well as made a ding noise. His eye focused solely on me. A white Ghost with a bright red X along its shell appeared by James side. It spoke in a middle-aged woman's voice and piped at the medic. "Hey Doc! It is not rare for Titans to make death defying feats. But one night, Colt stayed out really late. When I talked to him, he showed symptoms of a computer virus." "Wait what?! What are you talking about?!" Colt glanced at Doc. "Ah h***..." "Were you making that up?" whispered James as he glanced at Susan, his Ghost. "Yes." she whispered back. Doc paused and turned to Colt. "Really?" He scanned Colt. "Hm... As much as that is a 'problem'..." He turned back to me. "I can get my hands on Colt anytime. This one on the other hand..." He moved a bit closer. "Is a rare case indeed." I swallowed and began to back up slowly. "No thank you." "Hes just a doctor Josiah, I'm sure he will be fine." Charles said with some worry in his voice. "Not helping!...." I said as I felt the nausea set in again. Doc moved closer and a thin silver needle extending from one of the pieces of his shell. "Well s***, that didn't work. Hey Doc! How's YOUR Guardian?! We need him now!" yelled James after pointing at the still motionless body of the Titan. Doc paused again and looked back at the Titan. "Oh Blake? We are performing an experiment, I can't resurrect him now." "D***it!" yelled James under his breath. "Medical officer 'Doc' stand down!" yelled Dakota, putting his foot down. "I still don't think it will work..." Alan whispered. Doc rolled his shell and glanced at Dakota. "As the chief medical officer in absence of Blake's consciousness, I'm afraid I will have to politely decline, I have patients to attend to." Suddenly Blake sat up screaming. "Missle Silo!!" He breathed heavily and looked around. "Huh?..." "Oh... your alive..." Doc sounded dissappointed. "Well atleast that's a success..." Doc pulls out his notepad and jotted down some more notes. "Blake! It's about time you woke up! Call off Doc!" Alan yelled. "To his credit, he was clinical dead... as well as brain dead. So waking up on his own terms wasn't much of an option." Doc stated matter o' factly. Blake paused. "That was a weird dream..." He rubbed his helmet and looked at Doc as well as the situation at hand. "You better not be experimenting on others again." "Of course not! That Titan has sustained injuries, minor ones, but still injuries." Doc pointed at me to emphasize the point. Blake sighed and sat up. "Keep it up and I will take away your neurotoxins again." Doc gasped and grabbed a piece of his shell. "Please don't..." Charles paused. "Wait neurotoxins?!" "Thank you." Alan stated, taking a deep breath. I sighed with slight relief and leaned against a wall for support. "Who the f*** has neurotoxins?!" Cried Charles as he flew to my side. "I do." Doc stated. "It helps with patients that don't fair well with my tests." "Speaking of, what were you testing with Blake, Doc?" Alan asked. Doc paused a minute before speaking, still holding his shell. "I was testing a new serum where Guardians could be revived on their own... it was risky but I wanted to try and seeing as Blake was available... well... I killed him when he hit the pillar and injected him at the same time. No worries though seeing as he's alive." "So, you're making Ghosts obselete?" Alan asked, obviously confused and ignoring the fact a Ghost killed a Guardian. One learns not to question Doc about his practices. "No, more for convenience so they don't have to revive their Guardian everytime they fail... or if it's in a very Darkness infested place." "Its brilliant..." Charles said quietly. "Actually... I would take it. Colt would revive me next to the enemy!" Alan glared at Colt menacingly. "Ah those were the days..." Colt said with a sigh. Dakota sighed and shook his head. "Anyway Blake, now that you are awake, I got something for you." said Dakota. "What do you got?" Blake walked over to him. "It's a weapon from Amanda. You know anything about it?" continued Dakota as he retrieved the engram. Blake's eyes widened and swiped the engram from Dakota as soon as he pulled it out. "Really?! It's here?! Woohoo!!" Colt hovered over Blake's shoulder and laughed. "Well d*** Blake! Calm down!" "What's so special about it? I mean, besides being an exotic." Alan asked, looking to Blake. Blake grinned proudly as the engram morphed into a dull grey shotgun. It had very interesting designs along the barrel and had no stock. The sights were replaced with two horn like objects and the trigger was encompassed with a lever mechanism. "The Chaperone, the gun I've been working my a** off to recieve." "Why that particular gun?..." asked Charles. "It means a lot to him don't question it..." Doc said with a sigh. Blake glared and him and held the gun close, gently petting it's side. "Seriously Blake?" James said with a sigh. Blake laughed. "Your just jealous I got another exotic before you." "Ok that engram from Rahool was loads of bulls*** and you know it." Blake laughed again. "Sure buddy, sure." "We have visitors -of death-..." inturrupted T.C. as he looked down the hall. Everyone looked as five Guardians made there way towards them. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/184976673/0/0 link to chapter 26 https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/185150918/0/0 link to chapter 26.9
