Watching "No guns in America Debate obama"
I'm watching this....and absolutely laughing at Obama failing to bringing actually [i]evidence/reason legally[/i] to support and back up his presentation.
I am a supporter of fire arms and if anybody was wondering.
[spoiler]If you are against this and would like to convice why we should strongly restrict gun laws, or take away guns completely....Try me[/spoiler]

3 RepliesWhat amazes me is hat people believe and misconstrue the idea that Obama(or anyone!) wants to TAKE AWAY your guns. It's just not true. All they want is to make it so gang bangers can't take a 40 minute drive out of Chicago and buy guns anonymously at a gun show in Indiana.

3 RepliesFirst off Obama isn't trying to take away your guns, he's trying to add restrictions. Think of it like this, if the DMV comes out with restrictions for Automobiles, they arn't getting rid of cars, they're just fixing a problem that occurs often. Second, getting rid of guns won't solve the problem, it gose much more deeper than just weapon convenience. Americans (and all humans, really) have no respect for life other than their own kin as well as no sence of basic logic or reason. Were a species of warmongering savages that managed to hid it relatively well from each other, so much so that we genuinely believe that humanity is worth saving. So adding restrictions or getting rid of guns all together won't stop humans from being terrible creatures. But I say take away the guns to see all the little babys cry about how "Big Brother took my Boom Stick!"

4 RepliesIn a perfect world, I would love to live in a gun free society. Having said that I realize its not feasible in America, and would be happy with laws restricting the sale of firearms to people that aren't fit to own them. I'd also like to see some kind of biometric controls introduced that only let the licensed owner of a gun be able to shoot it. Also, I'd be perfectly happy to vote the 2nd amendment out of the Constitution entirely.

(Side note, this game also reflects the fun "gun crazy" tendency that liberals hate about conservatives where they like to collect and store weapons for fun/just the right situation, yet those who are anti-gun still play here?) Yeah it's just a game, but you're not following through on your values. I notice that when you go to the tower, no one checks in their weapons at the door. You carry them around with you. What would happen should a rogue Guardian start trying to massacre everyone? Everyone else would pull theirs out and mow the cad down. Red Death banned by the Vanguard? In the wrong hands a Guardian killer. In good hands a Guardian sustainer. I understand your concern to keep weapons out of wrong hands but evil will always find ways to adapt. Better background checks? Understandable. Please, let's just stop extreming political right and left and have a reasonable dialogue. God knows it's what this country needs.
