FIX YOUR BROKEN ASS RNG
Thought this was already fixed? There's no dam reason why people like myself and others should be waiting on certain rewards and getting the same shit over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. Yes it's a game. And yes you play to have fun. Buts it's disgusting a.f to play with others and they continously get better rewards or rewards they're waiting on. This is why people get salty and quit playing this carrot on the end of a stick game.

6 RepliesLast night I tried Rahool's engrams. Hoping I could get something at least something decent to infuse for my bad juju. I paid like 135 marks. I got a 274 scout with a worse role. Dismantled it , got 3 marks in return. RNG blows : (

I have bought 10 legacy engrams, hoping for Dreg's Promise to finish off year 1. I have gotten 9 Lord of Wolves and one Four Horsemen. Don't even get me started on my chest engrams that are all Alpha Lupi.

Just because someone waited so long to get a specific item and they want others to go through what they did, doesn't make the system right. I started when ttk came out and have noticed that all my repeats seem to b the first exotic for that type I got. So for me it's hawkmoons telesto and thunderlord. Overall I think I'm on 14 for hawkmoons 9 for telesto 4 or 5 thunderlords. Heavy doesn't seem to be nearly as repetative, as I have received a few truths. Others I've gotten alot of are suros regime which I'm on 6 for that. The problem isn't just a single rng roll it's multiple layers of it, so if your going for a specific legendary like grasp. 1 you have to get it to drop, 2 you then go through another rng based perk roll, and then again with regards to light level of said item. And then nothing pisses me off more then getting a drop I was going for but guess what it was just nerfed so !blam you lol. The thing that's never made sense to me since I've started, is if the the pool of exotic loots is increasing then why am I still getting the same thing over and over, personally it tells me that the system is weighted or biased in some form, maybe not by design but perhaps the coding has caused a glitch. !blam I dunno.... anyways good adventures guardians.

As long as there are some that are willing to do the same mission 100+ times to pad Bungie's server stats - this will not change. I'm waiting for someone with sense to actually think about rewarding the mission, instead of a trophy for participating. I guess the developers grew up in the era of - everyone gets a trophy and everybody wins (even though you could have been the worst player on the losing team (PvE and PvP included). Either grant a relevant reward to everyone who completed a given event, or grant a random reward with relevant light levels.

Personally, I dont do anything for RNG. That way I'm not disappointed when I at the top the the leader board and get no drops in Iron banner, I'm not nearly as salty. I genuinely like crucible, strikes, raid and not trials (even though I'm 2W/38L lifetime). I play for fun maybe a couple of hours a day, if that.

Well, I see people making fun of OP (and I tend to agree): but the problem is when you're doing Taniks/Omnigul for the 80th time and no cloak/bond drop. This is when RNG scks monkey balls...

You completely contradicted yourself. The whole point of RNG is the random factor. You want it to be fixed but you don't want it to be random? So really you want rid of RNG, not an RNG fix.
