Destiny 2 on Xbox 360 and Ps3
Personally I don't think that Destiny 2 will be on older consoles and that's how it should be. If Destiny 2 were to be released on the older consoles as well, I think it would limit the true potential of the game.
What do you guys think?
Edit: Haven't looked at this post in a year, but damn are you guys silly? Just because there are some people who are unfortunate and are unable to get a better console, or are too young... are the rest of us educated and working adults supposed to suffer because a few poor and young people can't afford to upgrade? That is hardly fair if anything. Though life itself isn't fair. If you want this, work for it. Don't expect the rest of us to lower our standards and expectations because you won't fix whatever situation you're in and find a way to afford a modern console or PC. Geez the whole lot of you are just so entitled huh? Besides Bungie and Activision don't give a hoot about your money because all of the money is with the new generation in gaming. Most of you seriously have no idea how the gaming market works. Sad.

I, can be classified as one of the people who can't afford a newer console -- But that's not my fault -- It's not that I don't work hard enough, it's the fact that I have a dad with a brain injury, and he spends money a whole lot. My mom tries to deal with it, and so do I. Please don't say stuff like what you edited in the post :(

I like the destiny games, but the fact that is online only, means that you won't beable to comeback and play it. Being on all consoles is the best move for sells. I don't think that the game suffers bc of it. Hell I'm sure one little extra menu for performance could fix any graphic problems.

Literally all you have to do is buy a newer HDD and SDD and install it yourself... It's really easy to do... I put a 2 TB Samsung HDD/SDD in my PS3 so now I have 8 GB of RAM and then the remaining storage that isn't taken up by Bloatware... So I still have about 1.462 TB of Storage on my PS3... So my PS3 would be able to run Destiny 2 no problem at all

3 RepliesDestiny's four game contract concluded that "destiny game 1, 2, 3, and 4 will be released on the ps3 and Xbox 360. This means that they have to release Destiny 2 to last Gen. Me personally think that it should be on Last Gen because their are many destiny players that do not want to move to next Gen for personal reasons or financial reasons. This game will sell dramatically on last Gen and as well as next Gen with mean more MONEY$$$ who doesn't want more money.You can search this contract up on google just type Destiny full contract.

2 RepliesThe game and franchise were clearly designed for more than last gen could handle, it just happened to launch at a time when going completely new gen wasn't financially feasible. I would assume it goes the way of BO3, if not current gen only. I remember watching a video mid 2015 with Deej explaining how characters will transfer over to 'Destiny 2' and afterwards when asked for more inside info he says something like, 'something's going to happen that you didn't think could happen' (or along those lines anyway) While that could mean a lot of things, I've been wondering if he meant, 'nobody would truly think we would drop last gen at this point, but we're going to.'

10 RepliesAgreed. Nothing against people on last generation, but I already meet plenty of people who have switched that just are blown away by the upgrade. If Bungie wants to do anything significant with Destiny 2, I hope they only make it for current generation and really focus on optimization.

4 RepliesI wish it was... But it won't, and the people who say last gen ruined Destiny 1 are ignorant spoilt children who think that Destiny has more to it than other 360 games. I'm sure Bungie could match the complication of GTA on 360, and that has WAY more content/graphics/everything than Destiny, and 360 can handle that.
