Would you pay a monthly subscription similar to a MMO model ($10 per month and $40 per expansion) if Destiny had:
-Dedicated Servers
-Monthly massive content drops
-Immediate bug fixes and patches
-Advanced Matchmaking
-Larger Environments
-Massive Loot Inventory
-Larger Fireteams
-Transmogrification
-Clan Wars and Clan Housing Environment
- Spawn swapping in ToO.
-Custom Games
Edit - I would definitely. Just curious of others opinions.
This may be going too far, but could you imagine weapon crafting or auction house sales of rare weapons with rare rolls or rare weapon parts??? (In game currency of course).

3 RepliesI would pay a monthly subscription. But that should cover everything including the expansions. Charging an additional $40 to its consumers is an over reach and really just greedy. They'll loose more players if they did that. Honestly they'd turn more of a profit and gain more players if they just charged $10 a month and then obviously the purchases of silver here and there.

Bases on advertising and "promises", all of that should have been in the game already.

1 ReplyNo, but only because I have a 'one pay to play game at a time' rule, and WoW is that game at this point in time
-
Yes, did it for WoW for a bit and can see why it gets good updates between expansions. If anything I can see myself staying with Destiny longer if there was a "premium" subscription service that gets all the bells and extra content. Other players could just get the expansions and be fine but we get some extra content for paying monthly. Maybe dedicated servers just for us?

1 Reply$200 a year? uhhhhh no thanks. Also Destiny doesn't need more money, thier contract with Activision was $500 million (most expensive game EVER). They just need to learn how to allocate thier money.

I mean, we could keep acting like destiny didn't make over a billion dollars

4 RepliesThe day that I have to pay a subscription fee is the day that I will leave destiny behind forever. This is why I don't play mmo due to the fee.

For all that? Yes I would, if the monthly content drops were meaningful additions like story content or strikes/raids instead of just events. The young generation of gamers is incredibly spoiled and they don't even realize it. They want the "one time purchase" model of yesteryear's gaming and the continuous DLC expansion of modern gaming all at the same time. It doesn't work that way. If you want a game to grow and improve you're either going to pay a monthly sub, spend money on microtransactions (or mooch off of those who do), or buy DLC in chunks. Pick your poison, because continuous development isn't free and this isn't a charity. This hobby has evolved and games should be considered an ongoing expense. If you feel the game in question isn't giving you the value you expect, assuming your expectations are reasonable, then find a game that will make you happy. I don't know how many times I've seen someone on this board moan about being ripped off yet when you inspect their characters they have put in hundreds if not thousands of hours into a game they supposedly hate so much. If you look at the big picture there are not many entertainment options with that sort of value. My friends and I easily spent $200 on gas, food, tickets and snacks to go see Star Wars. A two hours movie. Meanwhile the $200 I've spent on Destiny has so far netted me 500-600 hours of entertainment. And I know I'm on the low side compared to a lot around here. If you still truly feel you've been ripped off after spending that much time on a game it's your own fault for not putting it down and finding yourself a better value.

Nope, unless I could play without ps+

No, no, and no

If they would fix this game and make grimoire in game -blam!- yah

3 RepliesThey ruined the game sadly. This was my favorite game but it's just not Destiny anymore
-
No I wouldn't, because bungie will promise all that stuff when the monthly fee is announced. And then when the time comes, they will do whatever the f-uck they want, they will lie about giving us all that stuff just as they lied about many things in destiny 1, then I will be so angry that I will not play destiny 2, and then my destiny experience with my friends will be over. I prefer having a game with shitty support without monthly fee than having to pay a monthly fee for lies that were never implemented. Good post btw
If, and only if, bungie GUARANTEES all the stuff in your list, plus SIX COMPLETELY NEW PLANETS in destiny 2....then yes, I would be willing to pay
3 RepliesYes. And I could afford it because I have a stable income.

$10 a month isn't a ton but when u the ending balance over the year assuming they drop 2 DLCs that's $200. And for me to give that much money whether it's over time or a lump sum I better have a quality product no excuses. If they did that I don't want to hear that a old console is holding u back or that your trash engine enables you from fixing glitches. Also for that much money take out micro transactions and make all that obtainable through gameplay.

Absolutely.
