Having issues getting that 320 ghost or class item? Disappointed that legacy content and Nightfall rewards have been rendered pointless? Well I've got a great idea for a quest that will route players through older content allowing them an opportunity to upgrade their gear, break up the monotony of current raiding, and interact with lower level players! QUEST story: Eris has learned how Oyrx's Wizards create and charge items used to form the raid weapons and armor we use. 1. You must obtain an etheric light from POE. And Bring it to Eris. She will convert into "Tainted Light for 5 Moldering Shards and 20 wormspore. 2. The "Tainted Light" can be charged into "Ascended Light" by completing the following activities: - you must capture the soul of one boss other than Oyrx(Atheon, Skolas, or Crota). - you must complete one of each Runes at the Court of Oryx - complete a Nightfall - infuse one version of the raid item you want to upgrade into the Tainted Light, it can be a lower light level. 3. You now have an "Ascended Light" item related to what raid item you infused( Ascended light of the Ghost, Ascended light of the Mark, etc). Ascended Light can be used to infuse the related item one light level. Example: if you had an "Ascended Light of the Mark" item, you could infuse it into your existing Titan Mark at 316 light, increasing its light level to 317. But it gets more interesting... You could potentially charge the "ascended light" item to receive up to 4 points of light growth to the chosen item type by completing challenges. Below are examples. - Completing a strike at its par time - Defeat a world boss with a Blue weapon - complete a Key quest in the Dreadnaught - score over a 2.0 in the Crucible - complete the Jump puzzle in Kings Fall on hard without Dying. EDIT: You can also use "ascended light" to convert legacy gear to 280 light, which will allow you to infuse them to max light level. Ascended light would act as a gateway for Legacy gear to be brought into Year 2!!
