I want a real last city
Give us a fully functioning last city! The tower is just a sad empty department store for guardians! It doesn't feel like a home! I'm fighting off these enemies to save this sad little outlet mall? Let em have it! Gimme a cool place with possibilities for interaction. A true central hub. The kind of place that guardians come back to after a long day of patrols or crucible and sit down to have a drink and talk with other guardians! I look down at this bustling beauty below the tower with all it's bright lights all the time and I wonder, "what kind of splendors await me in that gorgeous metropolis below?" I figure it's probably not something you guys are willing to implement within the next few months, but maybe it's a great new idea for destiny 2. That way we're not sadly marching through the tower like mall zombies, dragging our feet on our way to be let down by rahool, or wandering aimlessly as we try to remember what's on our shopping list of things we came for so we can get out of this dreadfully depressing monolith. Make it happen. It would brighten up a lot of guardians' days if they had a real place to interact with other guardians.

1 ReplyWe know thanks to androiddev (concept artist who worked at Bungie who under anonymity detailed the modern development process) that one of the concepts was to have guardians "live" in the apartments you see below when you look down from the tower. You could earn trophies such as a cabal phalanx shield and hive knight swords for example. You could invite other guardians to show off your achievements and organise activities. I don't remember off the top of my head why the idea was scrubbed but at least we know Bungie HAS thought about it.

For the time being we will have to be content to 1. Stay in the dark living off vague promises that there will be content drops between Jan and D16 (whenever that drops) 2. BUsy ourselves with the grind and current content - hell I found myself doing a SS again just to get a picture of a green stone (yes will shard) SIgned Slighted Jaded Beta Person EDIT : what do less jaded if Bungie would just announce a season of content to intended D16 drop so purpose and meaning are restored to the grind :(

If only they would add The Nines into the equation as a DLC of some sort which would be fantastic. I mean we all know it's a whole race so why not give them a bigger role instead of being the ones to put skolas in jail and he sadly escaped and having 1 messenger come every weekend. A great filler for destiny would be adding a city with interacting NPC's something more like final fantasy interaction just to make it feel more of a home than a sub par hub

More social interaction opportunities would be nice. Yesterday I was in the Bar and guess what? I was the only dancer on the dancefloor. At least, I could choose which songs to be played... Some are not too bad.

If gardens were meant to visit the last city there wouldn't be A killzone preventing them from descending to it.

I think it would be cool to have a almost GTA home you can go to...rather then a vault its your place...a place you can customize or invite friends to. Have your favorite weapons mounted, along with the heads of raid bosses? Idk just some ideas
