Whats the best way to get the Cloak of Taniks
Been running the Shadow Thief strike all day yesterday no luck. Now im seeing its most likely to drop from heroic strike?

Wait until taniks is the nightfall. It has a higher chance of dropping. I got 2 cloaks out of 3 nightfalls the last time it was taniks. Good luck mate.

Yea, i got mine from a heroic strike, and i really like it, however, i switched over the the one hollowed cloak since it had a much higher light lvl, but yea, it is a cool cloak and try doing the heroics. Usually you will not get it just doing it over and over, if you are anything like me and have horrible luck, then just try and forget about it, then later on, you will probably get it when you aren't even trying to. It is like looking for something lost, and you find it after you wuit looking.

The strike exclusives have a higher chance of dropping during NFs. For the most part, I have received nearly every strike exclusive piece from a NF except Void Mantle (gonna be grinding today for it) and Grasp of Malok.
