I'm just asking and don't want salty replys
Edit: The double negative is on purpose
Edit: when I play they don't seem OP just when I tried it I thought after like the 7th kill spree I went on. (On a friend's profile)

1 ReplyI haven't had any issues playing against them.
-
1 ReplySo you're saying it is OP, ehh kinda but if you're rushing more than one person you can die pretty easily
-
Yea, they are just a bit though. I kinda hate them but not enough for a nerf, yet. They will probably be as crappy as sunbreakers if they get nerfed.
-
2 RepliesIt is not op
-
If sunbreaker wasnt nerfed it would be balanced
-
1 ReplyStormcaller is a glass canon subclass, high DPS but breaks easily
-
I get shut down by other teams supers all the time (mainly strikers). I also get sniped and, get this, shot at by 2 people. It's not OP.
-
And Bladedancer needs a nerf? Even though, melee range required. Hits don't register and no armour. Yeah Stormcaller and its zap zap needs a nerf. #satire Except for Bladedancer that seriously needs a buff
-
yesterday i join a team of 5 stormcaller....these guys werent great...but once they had their super they go ham
-
5 RepliesI smh. It can even be a panic super.
-
Stormcallers get the worst grenades possible for pvp scene. They have a subpar neutral game compared to the Voidwalker and the Sunsinger. I do agree that transcendence makes Stormtrace last too long, warlock player talking. Considering I can go an INT/STR build and just equip Voidfang Vestments to always have Transcendence proc.
-
It's not if you simply reconsider The old strategy of shotgun melee doesn't work anymore but many cant accept that and run straight into it Keep your distance and use a high impact precision weapon

3 RepliesEdited by Swiftlock: 1/3/2016 11:28:21 PMIt's not OP. Bungie just nerfed the other roaming supers too harshly, sans Golden Gun. People fail to realize that the current imbalance in the meta does NOT come from weapons and abilities that are too powerful. It comes from the fact that there aren't enough consistent options due to rampant nerfs across the board, which discourages variety.

Stormcaller is OP on any team PvP objective type match, because the opposing team congregate close together or cluster near objectives. I've solo-eliminated an entire 6-person team in IB with that ridiculous chaining lightning, more than once (most recently against a team I know were cheating and who still ended up lagging their way to victory). Considering I don't main a Warlock, it was pretty easy to pull off, despite lower Light level. Stormcaller isn't quite as useful in situations where the opposing team is spread out, but still lasts long enough to quickly move about the map looking for people on small to medium maps. On bigger maps and Slayer-style objectives the longer range supers are more useful for chasing down people farther away, but for considering most Destiny PvP maps are fairly CQC or have people congregate in certain hotspots (eg. Heavy drops, choke points, etc.) it makes the Stormcaller pretty OP in most PvP situations. But compared to all the old subclasses, I find the new ones really OP. The question is whether to tone down the new ones or tone up the old ones to the level of the new ones. It seems quaint how we used to be oh-so-concerned about guns like Thorn being OP or supers like Golden Gun being OP, never imagining that right around the corner we would be getting blatantly OP guns and Supers. :P

How is you not grammar?
-
One shot sniper headshot its a big blue floating targetc
-
Just look what happened to titan hammer....... Cmon man, I don't even use a warlock but no more god damn nerfs. Don't worry tho, they'll over do it just like always. Then everyone can complain about they next "OP" thing.
-
Double negative much?
-
If Sunbreakers can be nerfed, so should Stormcallers.
-
How didn't you get lost?
-
The super is crazy. I went to go do iron banner on my warlock (which i rarely play especially in pvp), and i brought my KDR on that character to 0.8 to 1.0 in less than a day. The super guarantees at least 2 kills on smaller maps and at least 1 kill on bigger maps when using landfall.

6 RepliesBc it does not give you increased armor upon activation
-
1 Reply... If that double negative wasn't on purpose I would have had to kill you
-
No health regen
-
It isnt.
