Buff Sunsinger and fix heart of the praxic fire

Sunsinger used to be my favorite subclass. After every meta of the game, the heart of the praxic fire was there for me. What I've noticed from the community is that ever since TTK released not once has anybody mentioned the change to the heart of the praxic fire. To understand what the change did, please watch this quick video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PxYLruQ81Wg What you just saw is no longer possible because of the nerf to the heart of the praxic fire. What the nerf did was increase the cooldown of the grenade from using the heart of the praxic fire. Basically it takes longer to throw a grenade while using the exotic body piece. Now most people are saying," It's not that big of a deal." But to me it is. The reason is because, this is how I played my Sunsinger. I felt like sunsinger wasn't just for self ress. The sad part about this is that Sunsinger isn't an op subclass. With the heart of the praxic fire, the animation for the grenade throw was enough as a delay so why nerf this. This plus the strange hit detection bug is making sunsinger even worse for me. Is Sunsinger a bad subclass? No. All I ask for is a fix to the heart of the praxic fire. Now, if you read the title it says buff Sunsingers. Please stay with me on this. Sunsinger could be an even better subclass with these changes. *note* this isn't my post. All credit goes to the one that made this. https://www.bungie.net/ko/Forum/Post/162520934/0/0 If you have any opinions, please leave it in the comments. Come on, lets make Sunsinger a good subclass. Please. This is my 4th post about this topic and I will not stop until people are aware. Edit: Thanks for the feedback. Just bump if you agree.

Don't know if this is an issue but in trials, a guy killed me with a tlaloc while I was in radiance w/ radiant skin, max armour and ram? I was so confused as to how he did that within 5 seconds. Edit; mostly body shots.

    • I understand your concerns but trust me it works just as it did in yr1, The grenades still fill up faster than the throwing animation. you have to hunt for the gear to spec your character right. here is my warlock https://www.bungie.net/en/Legend/Gear/1/4611686018443689081/2305843009264537692 As you can see I am tuned for max INT and DIS with my gear so my grenades ready in 25 seconds and my super in 3:40 There is no nerf to the HOPF. just build up your warlock stats

      • HoPF is fine. It wasnt' nerfed. What happened is that----with the dropping of TTK-----the ceiling for the DISCIPLINE stat was raised to accomodate the fact that we were going to start getting class items, ghost shells and artifacts that had stat rolls. So if you want to use it like you did in Year one....to be a grenade-chucking dragon while in your super.....you need to do one of two things 1. Make sure that as many of those new items with stat rolls, have maxed-out Discipline stats. That reduces the cooldown time on your grenades. 2. Buy Glass Needles from Xur, and re-roll your HoPF until you either have a split-roll with a very High Discipline stat....or you get a pure Discipline roll.

        • There is a reason they nerfed it. Firebolt nades are op. If you want to do this, you can still do it with fusion nades. Use the starfire protocol with max discipline and your nades will be ready before you throw them.

            • I run Sunsinger all the time and use HoP all the time. Use glass needles and roll for all Discipline. Then find armor and relics that also increase discipline and intellect. I have absolutely no problems spamming fusion grenades. I can normally take down more than half of a Taken Champions health just by using Fusion nades. Look at the rest of your gear, that's the problem. Not the class or HoP.

              • You do realise a sun singer full flame build is currently the best in skirmish control rumble trials and salvage overall? It's limiting to use one perk set but is actually incredibly difficult to counter or even challenge try this a few games and see how it goes

                • The only thing that I don't like is the one shot melee on the sunsinger.
