Best hunter subclass?
Started up a hunter after maining a titan. Whats the best subclass?

For PvE nightstalker obviously but for PvP stick to gunslinger it's the most solid PvP class with good nades and perks and the super is easy to use. Blade dancer is good for PvP as well till it comes to the super which to use effetively takes some skill. And shadowshot definitely takes a lot of skill to use in pvp and it has terrible nades.

Blade dancer does well, and so does gunslinger. Night stalker for pve is a must though... Unless you're over leveled, the use whatever. If you have any questions you can ask.

2 RepliesPVP- Gunslinger I say this because overall it's a great subclass, with a throwable melee and trip mine grenades with the grasps are UNSTOPPABLE. (My grenade cool down is 25 seconds) in this past iron banner I've averaged probably 17-25 kills per game. PVE- Nightstalker Black hole is a fantastic way to deal mass damage and great crowd control with the perk that deals damage to all enemies ( I forgot it's name) smoke grenades are also really awesome (again with the grasps you can get an extra melee) That being said I love my hunter and strongly suggest focusing on those subclasses depending on your type of play. Hard call. They're all good. I'd start out with Gunslinger if I were you though, then Nightstalker after you run that quest.

they all have their benefits, but with the playstyle you described, go with nightstalker. the super with blood-bound allows you to tether groups of adds or raid bosses and everything the tether grabs all takes the same damage. its amazing for burst damage and orb creation. the smoke grenades can be used offensively with poisoned smoke or defensively as a vanishing smoke. the only thing about nightstalker that's underwhelming is the grenades. vortex grenade is really the only one that's decent. and shadestep is so fun.

2 RepliesNight stalker IMO I use nightstalker for pve and pvp Unless solar burn Blade dancer and golden gun are extremely underpowered in pve atm And golden gun online is strong Blade dancer has some hit detection issues And nightstalker is fun with evade smoke black hole etc
