MIDA and TLW - FIXES (TL;DR Included)

Hey there peeps. So, anyone whose been on these forums as of late has definitely noticed the increasing variety of posts regarding solutions, or just yelling at, the MIDA and TLW problems. Here's mine. -—-MIDA-—- Personally, I don't think that MIDA is overpowered, but I feel like it's optimal for any situation, which shouldn't be the case, for any weapon. My solution is quite simple, it involves making MIDA more awkward at close ranges. Scout rifles are supposed to be fantastic at medium to long ranges. Here's what I think should happen to MIDA: ::: Reduce accuracy when hip firing. ::: As the user goes ADS, it takes about a second for the hip fire cone to go to the normal ADS accuracy. This will cause MIDA to be very unreliable at close ranges, because you won't be able to hit much. It will also make snapping to far away enemies more difficult. If you look at its perks, you'll see that MIDA is made to be ADS'd most of the time, what with Third Eye and the increased movement speed. This will also make it an unreliable weapon to use alongside a sniper rifle. You'd be better off with a sidearm, fusion, or shotty. -—-TLW-—- The Last Word was meant to be optimal for beating shotgun rushers, in close-range situations, but was not supposed to be an easy weapon to handle. Right now, you can ADS and reliably get shots off easily at unrealistic ranges. Here's what I think should happen to TLW: ::: Reduced rate of fire when ADS That's it. This will make hip firing the best way to use it again. A skilled guardian will be able to kill from farther away. Dodging TLW is pretty easy, and because of the small mag, you'll be able to rush the user or overpower them whilst they're reloading. -—-CONCLUSION-—- I don't think either of these fixes will obliterate the weapon, but hopefully will cause other weapons to be reintroduced and reused. Please note, I really don't care about these weapons too much. I mean, I use them, sometimes, but I prefer my Bad Juju or PDX-45 over these. I also don't care about the 1000YDSTR "epidemic" or whatever. It's a good sniper rifle, but I enjoy using my Promontory as well as Stillpiercer when I can. I'm not some little kid crying for a nerf, these are suggestions I have, because I don't want these guns or their weapon types becoming useless in whatever upcoming fix they have. TL;DR Mida fix: Reduce hip-fire accuracy, prolong the time it takes for the cone to straighten when ADS TLW fix: Reduce rate of fire when ADS. What do you guys think? Let me know. I'll answer any questions you have. I'm also open to any new perspectives you may have. EDIT: Change TLW fix from ADS accuracy to ADS RoF, courtesy of rick23452's. EDIT2: Guys, I guess I didn't make it clear enough, sorry about that, I'll make sure I do so in future posts... I don't want these weapons to be nerfed-- but because the majority of people do want these nerfed, I've made a few suggestions for the Bungie team, so that they don't destroy these weapons. I would rather other weapons be buffed to compete with these. Also, I wanted this to be a place where we can have polite and non-sarcastic conversations on fixes for these weapons, or other facets of the game. Keep the feedback rolling! It's good to hear so many awesome ideas.

 • Bad ideas. You are only making these weapons worthless to use. MIda is a scout, and is best at medium to long ranges. However taking the ability to snap to an enemy and fire your weapon gives the enemy an unfair advantage as long as he is using a different weapon. Lets face it, Mida isn't a problematic scout rifle. It's good, but it's not the best in any situation. It's not the fastest time to kill of even the scout rifles. No change needed. TLW is more or less fine. It's not the killing machine it once was, and the only thing I think that could possibly get done that would be fair is to slow the fire rate down when aimed down sights. The accuracy is fine.
