What guns ARE ok to use in Crucible?
I'm seeing tons of threads trying to shame people for using all kinds of weapons.
People clearly get butthurt whenever they are killed by Snipers. We can't use these.
People clearly get butthurt whenever they are killed by Shotguns. We can't use these.
So the most effective 2 special weapon types are off limits apparently.
Scout rifles are apparently for scrubs too, especially MIDA.
AR are ok as far as I can tell, just not the good ones! If you use Monte Carlo, Doctrine, or HL, the butthurt will flow.
HC are for the most part ok, but heaven forbid we use the best one (TLW).
That leaves us with Pulse Rifles as the only "viable" weapon class throughout. Which is absolutely hilarious, as NOT 2 MONTHS AGO everyone was butthurt when they were killed by one of these.
So I guess we all need to switch to the raid AR, bad HCs, Pulse Rifles, Sidearms (but NOT Ironwreath, it's too good!), and Slow-Charge FRs. Is that what I am to understand?

The absolute best part is, when you examine the nerd ragers, they are using the exact same loadouts they are condemning.

To be honest no gun is ok to use, anything you use, any gun, any subclass, any armor, there will be one person to complain that it's op that's just how the generation is if it kills certain people it is either lag, or op no in between.

Couldn't a agree more. We all need to use the raid auto rifle or the raid hand cannon and a stupid slow charging fusion and for a heavy we need a rocket launcher that doesn't have tracking or grenades and horseshoes. That way all the people complaining can use their last word thousand yard stare and raid machinegun and actually get a positive kdr for once in their life

Peril(the god king of HCs), Invective/Eirene, raid machine gun. I saw every type of gun show up for IB, it was amazing. GG everybody.

TLW, MIDA, Jade Rabbit, Tlaloc, Hard Light, Monte Carlo, Red Death, Bad Juju, Suros DIS-45, Hawksaw, Suros PDX-45, Hung Jury, Tunella, Doctrine of Passing, Hakkons Hatchet, 1000 Yard Stare, Glass Promontory, Defiance of Yasmin, Eirrene, Hereafter, Party Crasher, Conspiracy Theory, Burden of Proof, Binary Dawn, Invective, 4th Horseman, Plan C, Telesto, Ironwreath, Jaberhakke, Quillums, Ruin Wake, Unseeing Eye, Super Good Advice, Thunderlord, Dragons Breath, Truth, Suros JLB, Taramind, Ash Factory, Smolder And that's just the ones I can remember. 3 RepliesI jumped into my first ever iron banana. I hate pvp with a passion. But I just had to have that damn helmet. I switched between a hakke auto rifle and my treads upon stars and did fairly well. (for me) Funny thing is I was killed by snipers maybe a handfull of times. Yes there were those evil hardscopers, but they were easy enough to flank. Being killed by snipers never really bothered me. What I saw was a lot of AR and pulse rifle usage. Yes I saw some MIDA usage but not nearly as bad as it's made out to be. Honestly I would have to say it was more like the players were trying different things. I saw hardlight, zalo, suros, various pulse rifles, scouts, last word, shot guns. I dunno, I hate destiny pvp so I really don't care about the so called meta. Personally I think scouts are way under rated and the only reason we saw the rise of pulse rifles were their ease of use. That burst fire can be very forgiving. Again just my opinion. I'm just glad I got the helmet from a drop (310) and I didn't have to grind to rank 4. Until bungie makes a superless playlist with a static weapon sandbox pvp will never be balanced. I'm curious how many players would flock to it.

5 RepliesAlways kills me that people can't realize that all the sidearms are practically the same. The only differences are the name and aesthetics. They're all about the perks you get on them.

I use the deal breaker AR. It's got the worst aim assist in game.
