The nine are the planets. they are to some extent sentient. but they seem to be some kind of medium between the dark and the light.
The traveler is no different from Oryx. Oryx is the mirror because Oryx just uses the power of the deep; the sky to takes living things and infuses them with his power.
The traveler reflects Oryx because it too just uses the powers of the sky; the light to give to the dead life and give infuse them with it's powers.
Our worlds, the are the nine. Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus, and something that's going to drive you flucking nuts...the reef, it's a world unborn, It still has yet to form yet to become a planet.
There is a reason we're fighting here-oh MY GOD!
I'll be right back, gotta go make a theory post. I'll post the link here I'LL BE RIGHT BACK! OH THE THEORY!

That is 8 planets, not 9. Even if you include the reef
-
Damit, I forgot Neptune here too. Thanks for the heads up.
-
The nine are not planets. Anonpig already made a post about it.
-
Can I haz? Seriously I haven't read it yet can you post a link.
-
Oryx is a slave to the worms, who in turn are servants to the Darkness. (A dark traveller thing)
-
Edited by Risen Asura: 1/12/2016 1:23:26 PMWell actually oryx was just a slave to his worm and after you beat him in the story mission he makes his worm taken, and so he no longer has to feed it to gain or keep power.
-
Edited by Fal Chavam: 1/4/2016 1:39:37 PMTechnically oryx had a choice but what's it matter now, he's dead. The darkness is a slippery one. I might go with that one theory about them and Osiris. I feel like their "eye" might be that dark traveler.
-
He is not, he manifested into the touch of malice
-
Oh yeah. He's more or less out of the picture. Unless someone resurrects him by stealing our ToMs.
-
What if the Ninth one is Pluto?
-
Pluto isnt a planet...
-
It's closer to being a planet than the reef is...
-
Then whats the ninth fgt? Cant you count
-
He forgot Neptune
-
The reef. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/183675914/0/0/1 this is the theory I made.
-
Not according to Grimoire. I think you may have misinterpreted.
-
YEAH THATS WHAT IT IS! SEEING AS NO ONE EVEN KNOWS! I think you misinterpreted what THEORY MEANS GENIUS! Yes, caps button was optional...AND I CHOSE TO USE IT!
-
WELL, I DISAGREE WITH HIS THEORY.
-
Well, that's kind of the idea of having a theory. But for what it's worth, I hope your theory STINKS!
-
I never stated that I have an opposing theory. YOU STINK!
-
The grimoire says they are warminds, it also says they are the first awoken, it also says they are physical but then it says they're not. The card is spewing out everyone's speculation of the nine of which I'm willing to bet are all wrong.
-
So maybe the queen is one of the nine. Cause she can do what you just said.
and SHE IS NOT DEAD
-
Edited by Fal Chavam: 1/5/2016 5:40:16 AMMaybe. She seems more tied in with Eris of which I'm not certain if she is in the nine.
The queen is in some kind of pocket in time. We'll see here again.
-
According to grimoire no one knows jack shit about the nine so this is plausible

The eureka moment
