what i don't understand is the stupid matchmaking criteria, like is so hard to put people with similar k/d ratios in a match instead of -blam!-ing montage master over here with dude who plays crucible maybe once a month, like Jesus christ, I can't enjoy a crucible match anymore Cuz I'm always in matches against players with like 8 times my skill level, can't a dude who barely plays crucible sit down and enjoy a match or two without being complete obliterated by the other team, expecially in events like the iron banner

Iron banner is a tournament. It's not really geared towards casual Pvp players. It's more akin to the challenge mode for raids.

I understand that, but what's the point if a tournament every month if the same 10-20 guys win every time it rolls around, I've been attempting to play crucible and iron banner since like half way through year one, and I've always been put in matches where I can't do anything but be a bullet sponge, I guess I more vented than anything Cuz I'm tired of grinding for a whole iron banner event and maybe making rank 2 or 3 Cuz each match is I get out in is one sided

You can easily hit rank 5 on Monday just playing that day alone. Otherwise if you have an hour a day to play just do the dailies and with 2 weekly saved up turn them in Monday with your shader class and emblem equipped. Tadaaaaa! Rank 5. Also don't think too much when playing. Just be methodical and watch your radar. I'm no pro but i do okay playing like that.

I used to be horrid but you have to figure out what guns you are comfortable with and the endure you learn from mistakes. Don't run everywhere, watch radar, follow your team mates. I learned a lot from following the top guy on the team see what he does.

I've done all that, I've found the guns I'm comfortable with, I've tried to learn things from the guys at the top of matches, I've been doing it for a year this February, but I just don't do well enough, I honestly give up on the crucible Cuz its not worth the frustration, to me its not any fun when you can't do anything but give point to the other team

Some people just arnt good at it. And that's ok too. Play the parts of destiny you do enjoy

Bro, I'm terrible at pvp, but I really like pvp when it runs smooth. And sad to say that's only about 40% of the time and in IB or trials only about 5% of the time.

raids and strikes are where I have the most fun, but its only fun until I finish the raid and the weekly strikes, then destiny just loses all interest until the weekly reset

I play three characters. Do all three raids, heroics, bounties, night falls, I do do crucible and trials and I help new players a lot aswell. Just because you get less rewards doesn't mean it's not fun running things over again

the rewards don't bother me, but its just that when you have to spend so much time on end to do the raid because u need to find a raiding party just for them to die 2-3 times then the whole party quits and then I gotta find a new party, its just getting to me, and I can do anything solo outside of story mission Cuz of the way people just come and go during strikes

Join a clan that has active members to do raids with. Dregs R bad mmmKay is my clan, apply if u wanna.
