20 RepliesIn PvE, watch out for dicks who run up to other dinosaurs, piss them off, then lure them to you. Some guy did this to me and my buddy, and it resulted in the death of our first tamed dino/animal. The angry dinosaur also smashed a bit of health off my boat. This is also the same guy who trapped my friend in a house after saying "follow me". This guy is the leader of small tribe of 5-15 people. This dick is a target for my group. We already know how to break into his home, and have plans for him. I have a full ghillie suit, and spyglass; its a serious special ops mission. His friends are usually around his house, so kidnapping the leader of their tribe has to be done properly or we risk having greater defenses built to keep us away. We are most likely going to grab his body when hes offline, drag him to a boat, and lock him in a hut on the boat. We then plan to take this boat to a winter/arctic region and leave him to freeze/starve to death. A gravestone will be in the hut with him; it shall read "RIP fgt"
dont -blam!- with my tribe
2 RepliesStupid question but can anyone with a xbox one buy it now or do you have to be a preview member or whatever it's called.

Really surprised at how fun this game is.

If you're clever you'll find a way to stop that from happening. Bring a few friends on, protect you're dinos, build an effective base, don't attack everyone you see (you'll find that not all people are crazy maniacs if you just talk to them) and grind a lot before entering any caves or battling any alphas.

1 ReplyEdited by mannagement: 12/31/2015 11:31:35 PMSo, you're telling me that the game: Ark survival, has now evolved genitals? This is a state of national emergency.

2 RepliesIt is horribly optimized on the PC right now btw. I have a super beefy rig and run it terribly. I hear it runs pretty well on the Xbone though.

5 RepliesIs this game any good on Xbox One? What do you do?

Both servers I joined I found a random person who found more random people and made a tribe I never knew anyone and now we have like a 10 person active tribe on the server I play on its how you act as well as how others act. If you run up on people taming or run in there base of course they will attack you if you don't talk but if you talk in chat and ask for help most likely there's a group that will lend a hand

9 RepliesIs it on ps4? And is it even out yet? It sounds fun

Edited by Guardian2798: 12/31/2015 2:06:45 PMYeah on pve some people will kite angry dinos towards your settlement or tamed dino. Just put spike walls around your house and make dino pens. Another option is to kill/lead away the dino. Last time someone tried doing that i just followed him around and killed everything until he gave up. Also make sure every one of your doors and chests is locked and that you always log out behind locked doors. When you log out you dont dissapear, you just go unconscious on the floor. There's always some who will try to steal from unlocked storages or try to drag your body next to violent dinos so they can watch you die then loot your corpse. It sounds like alot to consider at first but it becomes habit fairly quickly.

4 RepliesI recommend using dark souls logic, if you don't know them either run or strike first

Just be me and fly around on your dino. I occasionally fly by spawn beaches and watch the new people either run, stand still, or beg for their life when I pick them up and carry them to sky cap.

I have it on X1 and I personally think private non dedicated servers with friends are more fun

I cant wait to get more friends in my tribe, get good, and go kick ass on a PvP server. Id do it now, but I think me and my one other friend in my tribe would struggle for a long long time.

Higher ranked people don't really kill lower ranks

2 RepliesI play on Xbox so idk if it's a different crowd but 80% of people I see are friendly as long as you both have mics and don't run at someone with a spear.
