Your clearly just unlucky. When IB started I went on solo as usual and won most of my games. You just have to know the maps and keep taking points when they get captured. To help carry your teams solo, I recommend a good range auto, a shotty for use whilst running to other control points, and if you use a heavy try and get one with tracking.
