I actually just got better internet connection and I'll join games where people are red baring then half way through the game it says I'm red barring and everyone else is fine and I have trouble getting kills xD

Check your Nat settings because if you are Nat 2 or Nat 3 it will hinder your connection. Regardless IB will be laggy at times which is frustrating but nothing can be done without dedicated servers.
