Just a little FYI, players under 300 Light can still be an integral part of your team, the damage difference after 290 is pretty small against most players. I ran as a 288 Sunsinger last night because I love my Sunbreakers still and they're great for controlling Zones. Was smashing some 2.0's out against teams of mostly 310+ Light whilst my random teammates were running around like headless chickens (I had a fair few negative games too, though, as I've been trying out different weapons. If you haven't tried Fusions out since the patch, give them a go, they're actually pretty decent now. Shame about that IB lag though, nobody dances with them enemy anymore :( haha).
Give people a fair chance! Then you can kick them for being shit afterwards ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
