Is there a good way to level up past 291 without raiding?
I'm trying to level up more so I can raid but I can't level up if I can't raid. I'm high enough level just no one will let me join them in the raid. Is there a good way to level up past 290 without raiding? Thank you all for your suggestions with the help of some of you I went rainding for the first time :D and I have also maxed out iron banner I'm now a 304 :D thank you all again for your help

I've only done the raid once and all three of my characters can be above 310. I was 308 before I raided. Only got boots and a rocket launcher from raid. The rest is all crucible

Court of oryx, IB, that's how I did it on my son's character went from 220 to 300 in about 2 weeks.

The best way ive found, before SRL, is to play heroic strikes and get engrams but dont decrypt until you have alot of them. To me, decrypting three or so at a time yielded nothing but 276LL items but doing alot at once would gain me 295-299LL stuff. You could try that and see if it works for you aswell. Also, just post on LFG and try to get people who are in the same position as you.

I'm 312 without every completing the raid. I got to the big orge and beat his ass then everyone decided to leave. I got the raid boot and since just completely ignored the raid. Between sparrow racing, three of coins, & iron banner I've got more than enough gear to make me higher than 310 which is all anyone seems to care about.

Iron banner, trials. I guess pretty much PvP if you don't wanna raid.

Jump in iron banner. You'll get a 310 artifact at lvl3, and a good chance at some pretty high level gear. Once I hit 4, I got a 310 hunter cloak. Lvl5 package gives some good stuff. Do it on today and Monday, you can lvl a few characters and get a bunch of high lvl crap

Iron banner is the best way to reach 300 light because you can play it solo if you don't have friends that are currently playing destiny

You can get to 315+ without raiding. Trials can net you 320 exotic from silver. Nets you 300-310 from gold. The 5 and 7 win ones also get you decent light gear. Then there's the flawless chest for a shot at 310+ gear. Then you have iron banner, which WILL give you a 310 ghost at rank 5 and can get you a 320 ghost, with 310 artifact at rank 3 guaranteed as a bonus. Good light sometimes on end of game rewards. Court of Oryx can get you to 300. Once you're 300+ you can get 310 exotics which you can infuse into other gear. It should be absolutely zero problem getting your light significantly higher.

I got to 313 without ever doing the raid. Iron Banner is a good place if you don't have people to play Trials with. Sparrow Racing while it was available was a good way too.
