I'm just asking, because that's what it seems like. Every reset I see at least 5 threads complaining about how someone got ghosts on all their characters. Or some other useless items. Just to refresh everyone's memory, here are some of the useless things a nightfall can drop: [i]Sparrow Horns[/i] [i]Emotes[/i] [i]Ghosts way worse than the one you already have[/i] [i]Five 3 of coins that will most like drop nothing.[/i] [i]A legendary engram that will become an artifact way worse than the one you already have.[/i] [i]Random legendary gear way worse than the gear you already have.[/i] I know the Nightfall is a 290 light activity, but doesn't it seem like the loot has just become awful? I mean, sparrow horns? EMOTES? Whose idea was this? Back in year 1, the Nightfall was actually a pretty decent way to get exotics. But now we have 3 of coins. So why would I waste my time on the nightfall, when I could just run a level 20 strike and get better loot? In essence, the nightfall has just become a glorified heroic strike. It's literally just a slightly harder strike that has like a 1 in 10 chance of dropping an exotic, which is irrelevant since, as I said, you could just use a 3 of coins. Hell, you don't even have to use them on a strike. You could kill an ultra on patrol and get an exotic engram. With that in mind, it really seems like the nightfall has become completely obsolete. My fellow guardians, when was the last time you actually completed the Nightfall? Better question, when was the last time you completed a Nightfall and didn't immediately dismantle your loot? To Bungie, could you please take out the cosmetic items? And for the legendary gear and ghosts, can you make them 305 light minimum? I think these 2 changes would help A LOT.
