Personally I'm surprised you wouldn't use stillpiercer on your hunter. Higher impact is always better than aim assist.

All you're saying is that you're going to sit in the back of the map, and use a high aim assist sniper to try and get kills. What's going to be funny is when you keep getting your ass handed to you by people using shotguns, and you switch to a shotgun. Probably to still get your ass handed to you.
