Who got the Chaperone legit, without TLW being your weapon of choice?
Seems like you have to get a 3.0 kd to see progress

If you get some decent kill streaks going with TLW you get plenty of progress. I did a rumble match with two 10 kill streaks and went from 46% to done. Final score for that rumble was 23-1. I had one poor soul try to hilt me about 5 times for the exotic sword quest.

I did it when ttk came out. Before the Last Word was brought back.

Took 5 matches of clash to get it. Wasn't too hard. Camp. TLW was trash when I did it and OP pulse rifles destoryed me. So I had to stay back and snipe.

How legit do you mean? I did not get a fireteam and go to rumble, but I probably only fired it three or four times during the quest. Got a good start in mayhem clash, then only equipped it when my team was about to win. Strait k/d has to be pretty high to advance, but medals and kill streaks count the most toward completion of this annoying quest.

I never liked tlw, but I wanted the chaperone. After getting wrecked the first match, I started the second on the dungeons map. Got 30 kills with it alone. It was so funny. This was when the quest first dropped.

Last Word, LDR, Jolders. Did it in about 5 games. I did main the last word all of year 1 so it wasn't anything new.

It's not about KD, it's about killstreaks. I got it in a few games because I went on a 20 kill streak in an interceptor on Bastion.

3 RepliesNo one got the chaperone without having the last word as the weapon of choice. Literally part of the quest.

All I did was follow instructions from the quest and I got it done within 5-6 matches I don't see why people think it's so hard.

Just used my beast of a machine gun, Xerxes with focused fire.

It's about stringing kills together. If you go 10-7 and have 2 merciless the percentage will go up significantly more.

I think it took me three games because i want on a near 20 kill streak in that one game.
