Just so I know what to look for, how do you know when people are cheating, and is there a way to tell who? I ask because I've suspected cheating on some matches, but can't report anyone because I can't tell who's doing it

You can spot the cheaters when their connection are changing colours :it becomes red when they use the lag switch. You can also see that the guy is cheating when you keep firing at him but his energy does not go down like he is immortal or something. In fact they slowdown their connection so they can move faster in the game. So they are faster and invicible, easy for them to win matches in the crucible or go until the lighthouse in the trial of Osiris I wonder how Bungie feel about that a big chunk of players who achieve to reach the light house in the trial of Osiris are cheaters.... I bet that's why they don't communicate at all about what the company is doing (or obviously not doing ) about this problem I report those cheaters every day but I don't think it is much help since they are just everywhere in PvP !!...

What you just said can also be from someone who genuinely has a bad connection. Their bar can fluctuate due to that poor connection. Everyone is so quick to jump to 'lag switching' and forget not everyone from around the world has stable and fast internet.

Read my comment again. People are too quick to suggest lag switching and don't realise it is just genuine lag, as connections in crucible are not as stable due to differentiated connections.

you're right it does not always mean that they are using lag switch that's why Bungie has to take care of this problem because it is tiring the community appart

What gets me is that they still adjust weapon balance for these jackasses.

I wish they will do something for the lag switch users and other cheaters in PVP instead of doing another weapon balance. nowadays, these problems are making PvP unstable and a real pain in the ass !....
