Entire Plot is basically A New Hope. Practically no new technology. They're still using X-Wings and TIE fighters, just painted black. Ren's shuttle is basically a slightly modified Imperial Shuttle, Storm Troopers look almost exactly the same, tge Star Destroyer you barely see is slightly bigger and not using the same bridge as old ones. Three new things:BB-8, Ren's lightsaber(that's not surprising though), and the...what, "Star Killer"? Which is just a bigger Death Star with the SAME weakness. In fact, Star Killer is just a -blam!-ing Death Star and Star Forge put together. Rey's abilities too abrupt. Throws out all the "Book Cannon" and such Seriously, I could stand the shitty plot if it wasn't for the fact that in this sci-fi movie, pretty much no new technology was shown. It's all just old stuff, or slightly modified old stuff. It'slike the "Sci" is missing out if this "Sci-fi"
