Who actually used MIDA before HoW?

I got it in a skirmish game halfway though HOW. I used it a bit & it was good but it wasn't nearly as effective as my stranger's rifle, messenger, or tlw so I stopped using it. Now it doesn't have to compete with thorn it seems to be one of the better weapons.

I used it when I wanted to do things quickly like strikes and CE. But I usually had my exotic slot for ice breaker around that time.

It was my first exotic a few weeks into Destiny. It dropped from one of the 25 strikes while grinding for Bad Juju. I told everyone how balanced and fun it was to use but very few agreed. It's really, really good now in PvP. I wouldn't say OP, but close.

Only reason i used it was to solo the thrall/lantern run in CE with my titan

MIDA/shotty with radiants and max agi was hugs on a BD. An answer for almost every situation and incredible mobility.

33k kills with it :/ I use it less now only because I need a exotic sword to get through most strikes :)

Used it all the time to counter all the thorn and Hawkmoon users. It was a great weapon to use, I loved it when most people didn't use it.

I used the year 1 version to get the "smell is the key" chest, does that count? Haha (I use Bad Juju in PVP not Mida)

I used it before Crota's end. I love that gun and no one new it's majesty so I never saw it being used. It actually felt like it was exotic since I was the only one with it.
