Is it possible to kill a rhino with your bare hands?
I thought about this today. We've all heard of people wrestling bears and alligators, but a rhino? A rhino just seems like the tank of the animal world. Even bullets would struggle to kill it, so is it possible to do it with your bare hands?
Here is the situation. You're in a reasonably large room, but not large enough for continual evasion. The walls and floors are solid rock. You have no weapons and minimal clothes. The rhino is located in the middle of the room and does not notice you. You have one initial move before it notices you are there and engages gore mode. What do you do?
For me, it comes down to two options. The most obvious is to jump on its back and try to strangle it before it bucks you off, but I think I would go with option two. I'd make my first move a solid drop kick to the side of one of his front knees. This way he has less mobility and less bucking power if he manages to get his horn into you. I'd then wait for an opportunity where I can get another of his legs injured before I would move in for the kill.

Kick his legs in, then kick his head in the side, and he is hurt. Do it more, and he will die in a while.

Not possible. They are faster and stronger. You wouldn't even be able to run far before the rhino runs you over.

You maneuver and whack it in the back, effectively assassinating it. But you need a weapon. You can't whack an opponent without one.

Jump on its back and jam both of your hands into either of its ears and attempt to reach its brain before being bucked and impaled/trampled to death.

whell up here in alaska a woman killed a grizzly bear with her glove..it attacked her and tryed to bite her arm so she shoved her and down it's throut and left the glove in there and it choked on it and died.. maybe you could do something simaler?? [Edited on 10.03.2009 5:35 PM PDT]
