Bungie tricked us about the auto rifle buff
And you Desticles still protect them? This is the reason why Bungie gets away with their schemes.

No, they made an error and admitted to it. As fun as it is to pretend that bungie have some big scheme to screw their player base over; it's just fantasy for the asinine.

My question is why did they even change stats on autos at all? The percent they changed them makes absolutely no difference. I do believe they lied. Not the first time.

I'd like to think if it wasn't going to make a noticeable difference, they wouldn't have been changed at all. However, I am a man of facts (& the occasional opinion), so here are those facts. The most used weapon types in crucible since the 2.1 patch (auto rifle "buff") are as follows: 1. Auto rifles 2. Shotguns 3. Pulse rifles 4. Sniper rifles 5. Hand cannons 6. Scout rifles 7. Machine guns 8. Rocket launchers 9. Fusion rifles 10. Swords 11. Sidearms https://guardian.gg/en/weapon-stats?platform=2&start=2015-12-08&end=2015-12-25&mode=10&activity=0 By taking a look at these stats you see that auto rifles are already the most used primary by a large margin. If they actually received the buffs we believed that would happen they would be grossly overpowered. Whether or not you like the way bungie handled the situation, the choice to not recreate the vanilla meta was a wise one.

It's was a placebo, so most of the casual gamers (not in this forum, the millions of players) were tricked, so Bungie post the next weapon stats, and proof the Autos are getting kills.

Technically they did get buffed . but I agree they changed things around and covered it up. 4 percent. I'm sorry we ment 0.04%. Our bad. Then again if auto rifles did get the buff we all wanted then they would be the first to be hit next patch. I don't think they are the top meta now but since their previous patch I've had alot more fun playing with them.
