I still don't understand why people still hate this game. If you hate the game can you tell me why?

Got real grindy after I hit vet, after destiny grinding was the last thing I needed. Soon the few friends that played stopped. I kept exploring, pretending it was a real elder scrolls game but with multiplayer, it didn't last long. They had an update that reset all skill points, I did my main but can't be bothered with all my alts.

Edited by The Rookie: 12/30/2015 7:18:40 AMIt was fun for a while and still play it from time to time just was never dedicated enough to it. Never got to veteran. Maybe sometime
-
I just got bored because I had to walk for 30 minutes to get to a quest
-
27 RepliesIt's an MMO. They're all terrible.

Edited by Spartan1732: 12/30/2015 3:16:20 AMI'm on Cadwell Silver in Bankorai which is the last area, but I'm struggling to keep playing without becoming bored. I think it's the combat. If it were more like Skyrim I'd play it a lot more. Plus I have no one to play with. The gfx aren't the best either.

After I beat it it got very boring. And I only did one faction cause I didn't want to suffer through any more. I love the Elder Scrolls but this was awful.
-
I liked it but the grind was real and boring
-
Bored at level 8, and the sprinting animation is so bad. $75 wasted I say, the only thing good is the big pvp battles, but that's only when you get there. The 1v1 battles are the worst thing ever, and the fact that whole crowds of enemy players can be hidden from sight. I might play it again, but I don't know if it will still be populated if and when that happens.
-
Customer service was awful. I haven't played since they basically stole money from me.
-
4 RepliesGroup finder is broken, no text chat on console is beyond stupid. Felt like I was playing a single player game not an mmo.
-
Because most players who picked it up expected Skyrim Online, since half of them started there and the other half are like, Twelve.
-
Hate grinding. I didn't mind it in WoW because you advanced in level very quickly unlike ESO.
-
Because I mainly played alone and got bored after awhile.
-
Played the beta for PC, it was alright. Then tired to play it for the first month on release, canceled my subscription and never wanted to touch it again. Don't know if anything was fixed, and don't really care. I would say I'll stick with Bethesda when I want to play ES, but I think I'm done with them too.
-
I honestly have more fun playin Morrowind on my original xbox, ive tried it and i love it. But its just an mmo with elder scrolls slapped on as a title. They could have gone in a million different directions and made it better. Ill be patiently waiting for the next in the series. I love the games, hate esos adaptation of it.

I still don't understand why people still hate this game. If you hate the game can you tell me why?
>People have different opinions and that triggers me ESO is dull and unintersting, back then when it launched it had too much restrictions and now is just pretty boring. The quests are too tedious and despite most mmos having a similar feel this one really takes the cake.
-
I don't hate it so much as have absolutely no interest in it. It's not what I want from Elder Scrolls, but if others enjoy it, more power to them.
-
Most people expected "multiplayer skyrim," but that's not what it ended up being. Most people were disappointed by it, and rightfully so.
-
9 RepliesIt was way over-hyped. Ppl were expecting an elder scrolls VI and got a grindy boring game with worse graphics than skyrim plus its much more expensive with buying the game, payinge everymonth and microtransactions that were P2W
-
Probably because the mega servers sometimes disconnects everyone
-
I enjoy the game but the group play until endgame is really really bad. You can't really do quests together because it forces you to do it all separately. Also, people hate the grind of Veteran Ranks.
-
Most boring pointless game ever created, I literally fell asleep while playing on more than one occasion
-
5 RepliesDoesn't it have a subscription fee?
-
4 RepliesNo text chat, group finder doesn't work. (Console experience)
-
1 ReplyProbably because it costs so goddamn much to play
-
I enjoy playing it every now and then
