Firefly /outlaw /crowd control etc are not that good in pvp
editx2: things of note, im done replying to the thread, none of you could even remotely disprove me. for the record, i agree with a few statements. statement 1-i just like the perk...i agree if you like it use it. 2-its about player preference...i agree if you prefer the perk use it. also there are some weapons where these perks are honestly best in slot due to lack of perk roll options. to anyone else have fun talking to a wall with your weak opinions dressed as facts.

Because they are inconsistent. THEY ARE NOT BAD PERKS, some even are best in slot depending on what available perks can roll on certain weapons (like how uffern HC4 handcannon from armsday's best roll in one of its perks is outlaw)...not that good=/=bad now or ever.
They require a condition to be met that you don't always have control over.
They are amazing when they work... Key word is when. Firefly can help you get multiple kills yes! But only when people are hugging.
If you just want a good feeling scout honestly just max it's stability bar and give it Zen moment. Want to use it for pvp make sure it has decent aim assist Stat and get hidden hand.
If you want the flashier stuff by all means but when I see people talk about what's best then lists them I shake my head.. Tho sometimes the gun doesn't have a consistent perk for that bubble it can roll

It depends on personal preference in all honesty. Since I use handcannons a lot I would like outlaw. Crowd Control is what made the Vex so dangerous I believe. I have a Treads Upon Stars that has crowd control and it destroys.

Outlaw is top 10 perks in my opinion, but it's all about play style.

3 RepliesI agree with what youre saying. For the most part. The perks you mentioned besides crowd control are too niche for pvp, theyre good but theres alot better options. Firefly is garbage in pvp. Outlaw is alright but since it relies on precision kills id take perks like feeding frenzy over it any day. I will stand beside crown control tho, its one of the best for 6v6 game modes. I mainly play elimination tho, so crowd control isnt that necessary.

I'll argue that the conditional perks (except the new ones like danger close) are almost always good in pve. The conditions are much easier to fulfill there and the rewards are nice. In pvp you're absolutely right. The conditional perk won't ever activate if you can't get the kill, so maxing stability, range, and aim assist on your gun is almost always the right choice.

Crowd Control on a Lmg is a must have. Firefly is meh. Outlaw on a HC or Sniper is great. Play more crucible before attempting valid points.

Dude you dont even have 60,000 medal score, the average destiny player has over 1 million and can get kills no matter the perks. However i see where you coming from but its just preference, just like how i dont like using invis on my hunter in pvp or pve, simply because most hunters just stay away from the firefight so they can use invis to revive. I dont like perks that revolve around your team dying!

You should out my auto rifle from the gunsmith package on my titan. It has crowd control and focused fire with smallbore. It's already a beast in pve and I bet it will slay in pvp too

Outlaw on a sniper is -blam!-ing broken i can not begin to tell you how many times im sniped someone then his teammate reloaded and got the rez because they called out to grab them while i was busy reloading.
