Let's Settle It: Kylo Ren vs. Darth Vader
Personally I like Kylo so far, as he's a better developed character and shows more emotion; unlike Vader, he better embodies the principles of the Sith. Who do you prefer and why?

He's not a stock villain, he's not immediately evil so he has room to progress as a character, he's not Vader 2.0... they did a good job with him. That being said, Darth Vader is the most iconic villain in film history. It's pretty much impossible to top that. And I do mean original trilogy Vader, not whiny teenage prequel Anakin.

Kylo couldn't kill a Stormtrooper who was in the sanitation division and was defeated by a scavenger. Besides Darth Vader was not killed by anyone he killed himeself. Kylo Ren is a whiny bitch who doesn't have the balls to kill his commanders of the First Order.

To explain deeper into the Star Wars Universe on what that means, the myth stated in this episode [spoiler]the first Jedi temple [/spoiler] is very true, there is one who is so in tuned to the force that they are responsible for shifting the balance of it. This is why the empire was in control for episodes 4 5 and 6. Because Lord Vader lost control of himself and tried to urge the force to far one way, the force rejected him and quickly leaned to help the other side (Luke and the rebels) Kylo would probably be put in the same league as young Obi-Wan for the time being, but we'll have to see if the event (BIG SPOILER) [spoiler] finishing off Han [/spoiler] pushes him closer to the dark, or makes him more doubtful of it.

He and Vader's Fist brought down the Jedi Temple. Vader fought the clone of Maul. He fought Boba Fett. Kylo Ren couldn't even stop Fin in a lightsaber duel. Get real, son.

Vader had no father but a mother, he was born of the mediclorians. Anakin (Vader) is the Most powerful force user to have ever and ever exists period
