I'm pretty sure I saw a chart earlier that shows there's still more shotgun kills being made post-patch than sniper kills. People can rag about snipers, but shotguns still appear to be more popular, unless I misread it. Whatever tho. The way I see it, 2 kinds of snipers; The run n' guns: guys who move through the map freely, take advantage of any and all advantageous lines of sight. The hardscopers: guys who just sit there and watch the choke point. If there's clear sniper lanes, that's where these guys are gonna be. All the time. Within the first 20 seconds of the match, that's where they are, without fail. I hate maps that encourage that style of play. Pantheon, frontier, Memento, the heavy spawn on crossroads. You know that every time you visit those maps, you're gonna see that sniper glint in the exact same spots. Need more maps like drifter. Plenty of movement and the ability to position yourself almost anywhere made that an awesome sniper map when it was up for trials. Perfect balance of CQC and sightlines imo, everything was viable.   • The hardscopers are prime for the taking by the run n gun snipers. That's how it will always be... Campy little bitches.. those games can be so boring and annoying.

  • Ikr. Really disliked frontier in trials. It's not quite as bad as say, pantheon, but there was still a lot of stationary sniping. BOO TO THAT.
