Let me start by saying I enjoy playing Destiny Y2. I bought Destiny Y1 and traded it in after a couple of weeks. A friend recommended Y2 and I tried it again and play it often now. I don't mind working for exotic drops but only making the 300+ equipment available in the multiplayer parts of the game is frustrating and disappointing. The "carrot" of high-level stuff to get people into the multiplayer parts of the game should not be necessary. For those that enjoy those events, they should not need to be bribed to participate. The 1-3 person fire-teams are ok. I don't mind joining a friend or 2 now and again. Also, the public events are not bad at all.. But again, no multiplayer events should be a requirement for completing all of the story lines or prevent getting any weapons or gear. Please open up the game for those that feel cheated because we will likely never get any 300+ items in Y2. I have no problems avoiding or abandoning any multiplayer quests. I'm certainly not suggesting doing away with those events. I just don't want them to prevent me from experiencing all of story or getting the best gear. Thank you from a Single-player fan.
