1 ReplyEdited by DrKrFfXx_: 12/22/2015 12:45:34 PMSennheiser G4ME One. All other brands are generic crap with generic drivers with overpriced neon stickers on it. I love me some Madcatz Arcade sticks, I love my Logitech G502 mouse and used to love my Razer Deathadder, I love me my Asus graphics cards, all these brands are great at what they do. But leave the audio to those who know how to make audio. All those brands make cheaps shit with big names when it comes to headsets. Bloated bass is all you get from these "gaming headsets".

For playstation the best value for money and functionality are the playstation golds. Game developers even make their own sound profiles for them.

1 ReplyYou might want to put a price range on this, because while "best" is subjective audio equipment gets expensive fast. Also be aware that in the gaming headset world there are tons of companies that are like beats by dre. Those headphones do not have good sound quality, and you can see that when you run them through test equipment. However, you cannot tell that to anyone who owns them or bought the hype due to how much money they invested in their headphones because the herd of sheep told them they were awesome. It's a phenomenon that's common in our society. Good luck. I currently use Astro A40's. They are definitely not "amazing" but they are light, well designed, comfortable enough, they don't get too hot, and the sound is between "ok" and "good", which is quite acceptable for gaming in my opinion.
