#1 has:
Eagleeye SLR20, Shortgaze SLH10 or Tacsys SLS15
Partial Refund
Skip Rounds or Smallbore
Hidden Hand
#2 has has:
Hawkeye SLR15, Longview SLR10 or Tacsys SLS15
Life Support
Quickdraw or Rifled Barrel
Hidden Hand
-
6 RepliesShortgaze = Longview Partial Refund < Life Support Smallbore < Rifled Barrel Hidden Hand = Hidden Hand Clearly #2 is better but most will prefer #1 due to shortgaze. PSA: Longview is basically the same and a great choice as well.

Perks don't really make a difference for me. It's all in the scope.

6 RepliesEdited by Jameszyy: 12/22/2015 6:08:09 PMScopes are similar (shortgaze and Longview are x4.5 and x5 respectively and +20AA and +30AA respectively) and the second tree are essentially irrelevant so it's down to the middle tree. Skip rounds is pointless and smallbore reduces the mag size (which you definitely don't want). QuickDraw or rifled barrel is what you want; I'd personally go for rifled barrel because it improves the range hit boxes. Why the -blam!- people have gone for #1 is beyond me. People need to get over shortgaze and accept that Longview is just as good if not better.

1 ReplyDoesnt matter which has more aim assist. One has quick draw while the other doesnt, that's all that matters. Go with #2.
-
2 RepliesJust goes to show that a majority of the community has no idea what good perks are. Please go with #2, OP. It is the clear winner here. Everyone is saying #1 because of Shortgaze and that's just silly.
-
1 ReplyEdited by Logikal Reazon: 12/22/2015 9:04:55 PM#2 is the best roll if set up with Longview and rifled barrel. If anyone has listened to Jon W. speak about what the stats on weapons do will agree. But go ahead and listen to the poll, lol.

3 RepliesThe one on my hunter
-
Mine: shortgaze. Rifled barrel/quickdraw. Last resort and hidden hand
-
Id still take the one on my hunter
-
1 ReplyComing from a massive PvP player #2 is the best choice in regards to AA.
-
3 RepliesI like how everyone is agreeing that this gun is anaim assist, bullet-curving sniper
-
1 ReplyThis whole aim assist thing is getting out of hand...we've seen several snipers with higher aim assist and currently snipers in game with the same. If you have a problem with aim assist then include all snipers, not just 1000 yard stare. The reason so many people use this gun as an example is because everyone has it from a quest. The 1000 yd stare doesn't have any higher aim assist then normal.
-
1 ReplyWhy are folks not going with #2? Longview, QuickDraw and HH seems like a fantastic roll.
-
1 ReplyBoth good. I'd take #2
-
2 RepliesYes guardian, cling to your aim assist
-
1 ReplyLongview is the best, check mine, we have similar stuff
-
Personally, all I really care about is the scope. As long as I've got short gaze or ambush then I'm happy. Have the last resort perk or snapshot perk would be a nice bonus as well. That's really all I want for a sniper.
-
5 RepliesI would use #1 but dont use smallbore or skip rounds. Skip rounds makes the handling worse
-
No short gaze, no good
-
1 Reply#1 for sure short gaze and hidden hand
-
Number 2 is the better roll.
-
5 RepliesShort gaze makes #1 win outright. Doesn't matter what the other perks are, if u have short gaze, the rest is gravy.
-
2 Replies#2 since QuickDraw draw is essentially the same as snapshot and I believe that Longview scope has the most AA.
-
1 ReplyU need snap shot for pvp. Aim assist as a perk on a sniper is to minimal to notice.
-
5 RepliesShort gaze gives the most aim assist
-
1 Replyyou need one with snapshot :)
